Mike Walsh and Amp'd Entertainment were hired for my sisters wedding this past weekend and did nothing short of an amazing job. Mike was super personable and the perfect balance of professional and friendly. He was super accommodating to all of my sisters song requests and worked with me to help deliver a surprise Maid of Honor Speech. “2 days before our wedding, our original DJ was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery. We frantically called quite a few different companies that came highly recommended from a wedding coordinator friend and Amp’d was available on such short notice, worked within our budget, and made a very stressful situation into a pleasant one with a seamless transition. Deitrich (our DJ) was absolutely fabulous. Always available by email, text and call. He answered every question we had and gave great suggestions that were SO appreciated. Because of the time crunch, we had to do our first and final run through of all music choices over the phone and Deitrich made this run so smoothly. We went over everything song by song once, then he read it back to me twice to make sure everything was exactly how it needed to be. He had no problems finding the songs we wanted to use on such short notice. The day of the wedding, he had everythig ready early and was phenomenal with transitions between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. He kept the reception light and fun during dances, toasts and cake cutting. Everyone had the time of their lives and we kept hearing all night “oh my gosh, I love this song.” Deitrich is absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to use him again soon! I have had the opportunity to work with Amp'd Entertainment on several events and they have always exceeded my expectation. On the evening of March 15, 2018, we were blessed with the sounds from Lyris one of Amp'd newest DJ's. Lyris not only professional, but she had everyone vibing off of the sounds she was spinning during the evening for our event. Although I love all the guys at Amp'd Entertainment, it is nice to see a female face that can hold it down and get it crackin' just as good as the guys can!

We splurged and paid a little extra for Mike to come out and DJ for us himself. I had a couple hidden items for my bride which involved playing my guitar and singing over a couple of backing tracks. This was an outdoor wedding and Mike met up with me several times to help practice and make sure to get things right. He even pitched in and helped sing some of the tougher parts while I played the guitar. It was phenomenal. The professional lights were great, the sound quality and playlists were spot on. Couldn't have asked for a cooler experience. Mike genuinely cares that you and your guests have a great time. He has a great stage presence and was also a wonderful master of ceremonies. We had a great sounding, personalized experience. Definitely worth the money.

Mike was the DJ for our wedding reception and he was awesome!! Our guests said it was the best reception anyone’s ever been to, and it’s all thanks to him! Without his direction, it would have been a mess, but he was able to direct the flow of the entire reception without the need of a wedding planner. He even tracked us down and told us when we were going to be announced, even though we were a little distracted ;) He also customized the father of the bride dance just for us! To help plan, they have a portal where you can select songs/ artists you want play and when, a “do not play list”, and song suggestions for First Dance, Cake Cutting, FOB Dance, MOG Dance, etc. Mike also was able to read the crowd very well and play accordingly to get everyone on the dance floor! Even my husband, who doesn’t dance, was on the dance floor! Picking Amp’d was the best decision we made!
