Review & Rating
The only reason I don't give BTG a full five stars is that the drinks are slightly overpriced. Otherwise, the ambiance is cozy and the selection exceptional. The hors d'oeuvres are excellent as well.
Absolutely love this place. I continually reccomend to our out of town clientele.
I love the wide variety of wines. The atmosphere is warm, mellow, and cozy. I haven't been here when it's particularly busy but the staff is friendly and engaging.
Always great service! Love going here for a nice elegant night!
The management (TJ) here is 100% unacceptable. Me and my aunt ordered two wine flights, and when our waitress brought out the flights she was confused on what wine was what. She gave me and my aunt both what she thought were the correct wines, and when we got to our third wine we realized that she had given us each the correct first wine, but mixed up the other two. We switched each other our third glasses, then told our waitress what she had done and asked if we could each try the second glass again (because neither of us had the correct one for our second glass). She brought out the second wine, apologizing, and then when we got our bill we saw she had charged us for it. We asked if there had been a mistake because our waitress was the one who messed up both of our flights. The manager, TJ, said he would not take any wine off because we drank them and said we were trying to get free drinks from him now. He was very rude to us and saying he would not take anything off, our waitress was one of his top waitresses and there wasn't any way she had messed it up. I was completely baffled by how disrespectful he was to my aunt, literally leaning on the table arguing with her and refusing to be wrong. For such an expensive establishment you'd think they would have a little more class. This was not our first time here but we will not be back.
Great unique wines. Josh was our waiter and he knew alot about the wines. Plan on spending some money. But you definitely get what you pay for. The food is good too.
Good wine and even better food. If you're looking for a wine bar with delicious bites (try the mac & cheese, baked chevre, and hazelnut cake for dessert), BTG is a great spot. The ambiance is wonderful, very relaxed yet buzzy with friendly staff. The sommeliers are enthusiastic and helpful, and I enjoyed chatting with them about wine varieties. Highly recommend BTG!
Great place. Josh knew his stuff. I should have taken a pen and paper. There was a fantastic red from Portugal (bottle) that I'd love to find the name of. We were there several evenings in a row (May 21-23), if that tells you anything.
The way they keep their wine on tap is so boss. Getting flights of wine is so money. The chocolate mousse and pretty much everything. Been three times, looking forward to the new location.
Great wine flights. Really stylish design of their new space. Highly recommended!
