The Loft's interior 4,870 sq. ft. boasts of raw architectural elements such as exposed brick and warm oak timber beams, 20ft. tall ceilings, and its most distinguished feature – a 65ft. skylight unique to all of Chicago! During the daytime the Grand Loft space is bathed in warm natural sunlight. In the evening, the skylight reflects the interior decor of the night’s event.

Gorgeous and light filled venue. Friendly staff.
We just had our wedding here on NYE. It was absolutely perfect. I was a little nervous about it being right near the "EL" but I could barely hear it the night of... It definitely did not cause any disturbance. Cher was awesome to work with and made everything so easy. This venue is perfect to bring any vision to life. We had about 90 seated guests and it was perfect. I can't wait to get our professional pictures back to show this space off. I am OBSESSED.
It really was a lovely place. Very romantic for a wedding. It was too small for a wedding of 130 people though. It was September but it was very warm especially with so many people. They really should have turned on the a/c. If I were to have a smaller affair this woo ld have been a wonderful place.
Place was large, was there for a baby shower. Very ample and clean
I expect a loft to be upstairs. Very loud and noisy. Parking totally inadequate. Food good.
Came here for a charity fashion show. Speaking strictly if the venue, there was no coat check, which was odd and inconvenient. The venue itself was very pretty though. I would gladly come to another event here, I would just be sure to leave my coat somewhere.
Loft on Lake went above and beyond to ensure that our charitable event was a major success. From their kind And welcoming demeanor, to their flexibility and quick communication, they made our event process smooth and painless. And this is all without their biggest contribution - their gorgeous, open and unique venue that made all of our guests say “wow!” The brick walls, skylight and spacious environment was the perfect setting for our memorable event.
Went here for the Taiwan now boarding event. It's a one room event space that is perfect for meetings, cocktail parties, events and especially weddings. The space can accommodate anywhere from 50 to 200 easily. It has an intimate feel to it, cozy and warm as well. There are no windows, but the giant skylight makes it so bright, you don't even notice. It can be transformed into anything you would like, and staff is very helpful. There are these really cool antique cameras in front, but, sadly no one could tell us anything about then. Had fun at the event and would seriously consider using them for an event or wedding in the future.

I am so excited to write this review because I have nothing but the highest praises for Cher, Steve, and Jessie at Loft on Lake. This family is truly incredible. When my husband and I set out to pick our venue I was nervous and stressed (this literally was the most overwhelming part of wedding planning to me). When we walked into Loft on Lake Cher greeted us and made us feel right at home, and that is what you get when you work with Loft on Lake. A family run business that makes sure to have everything you need right when you need it! She was able to answer every single question I fired off at her, she was able to talk to us about how other people had set up their weddings, and the entire time she did it with a smile. While working with a family owned and operated business was the selling point for us, Loft on Lake is also a stunning venue. They have a gorgeous sky light, beautiful wooden beams over head with adorable fairy lights strung between them, and exposed brick. This venue is a blank canvas that you can beautify any way you see fit! One of the coolest parts of working with Loft on Lake was getting to hear all the magnificent things the vendors we partnered with said about Cher, Steve, and Jessie. They all said how much they enjoyed partnering with them and how professional they are, and after a year of planning and working with them we too say the same. Loft on Lake we can’t thank you enough for the beautiful space, awesome atmosphere, fun photobooth, and care you put towards our Wedding day!
