I've been a patient at Aesthetic Dermatology for four years for skin cancer screening and treatment, and recommend them. Dr. Binstock and Dr. Layton are professional and friendly. The office is well appointed and located downtown near the Embarcadero BART station. Also, while the practice offers cosmetic dermatology procedures, they don't push them like other dermatology offices I've been to.
Great visit. On time. Accomplished everything on my list.
Went there with some skin health concerns. His answers were dismisive and he didn’t even check my skin. I was out of the office in 10 minutes. What a waist of time and money.
I am so impressed with the breadth of knowledge, professional expertise and bedside manner of both Dr. Binstock and Dr. Layton. The administrative staff is also top notch. I have a hunch this is the finest medical unit in the area. I recommend Aesthetic Dermatology to anyone.
I recently moved to San Francisco and it was great to find Dr. Layton. I have been to top doctors in NYC and can attest she is second to none. I trust her eye and her skill and was comforted by her empathy and excellent bedside manners. I also enjoyed her easy to digest explanations for various procedures outlining that demonstrated not just her knowledge but also passion about what she does seemingly a rare skill in many doctors i have been to. Additionally, staff at the office was considerate, polite, efficient and most importantly very welcoming that is a big change from the medical office in NYC.
Really nice, efficient and clean place. Close to work in and out in less than one hour.
Stephanie Cullinane is an excellent medical professional, but also a nice person who shows interest in her patients' lives. Very thankful to have her and the rest of the staff at Aesthetic Dermatology taking care of my needs.

Great office. I’ve seen both Dr. Binstock and Dr. Layton and they’re both fantastic. Some have complained that this office is too busy, but I’ve never felt neglected. I had a very comprehensive mole check done here, as well as getting treated when I had a hot oil kitchen accident that burned my face (horror!). Happy to say, thanks to their care, there are no scars or marks. I’ve also done some minor cosmetic procedures and have been very happy with the results.
Nice doctor but the clinic looks like it's from the 70th , nothing is online - they use paper forms -no e-mail communication. I will not reconnected - made me feel like the are way back in time. Made me not trust thier technology.
