Sarah M. is the best! I am one who always wants change when it comes to my hair and she always makes it look amazing whether it's cuts or color. I've been seeing her for years and I'm always pleased with the results. Would highly recommend her to others.
I started going to Amaci salon 4 years ago when I started college and I plan on always coming back. Aretha has always given me exactly what I ask for. I’ve dyed my hair purple, added some highlights, went completely blonde, chopped all my hair off, phased back to my natural dark brown and so much in between. Aretha has never disappointed or let me down once. It was obvious from my first visit that she truly is a master at what she does. I’ve never had a bad color, no brassy blondes and no awkward fading. My haircuts are always perfection, from small trims to total transformations. I always know Aretha will do amazing work, and I won’t trust my hair with anyone else. I highly recommend Amaci to anyone looking for a great salon experience.
I highly recommend going and visiting Adam for the best cut in the city. His attention to detail is not matched anywhere else I have ever gotten my hair cut.
I would go with 0 stars if I had the option. I had a really bad experience at this salon. If you have darker hair I don't really recommend going to this salon. I went to this place and asked for a darker color for my bangs and basically the front of my head and a fresh light color for the bottoms of it(I already had very light bottoms). I also explained that I am looking for a very cool Ashy brown and hate it when the hair gets orange or red. They bleached my hair (even on the front which had a few pieces that were lighter and were supposed to get darker) got it damaged and gave me a color that I absolutely hated it was everything I didn’t want to happen to my hair. My hair was black at the top, orange in the middle and a cool blond at the ends. They said they balayaged it!! This all happened when I was planing to go to a wedding in 2 days, heading to Canada. I went to another salon to fix it (only because I lost the trust in them and thought if they did this on the first round they either don't have the experience with dark hair or are not listening to what their customer wants) the lady who fixed my hair at the other place was very surprised with what she was seeing. I have posted a picture! I called them, went there and said I'm not happy with the color and the owner didn't even accept the mistakes they made on my hair and didn't reimburse me saying that I had a week to go to them to fix it. I honestly read the other reviews after what happened to my hair and thought I shouldn't trust them anymore. This was a really bad experience overall, I don’t recommend this place.
I just moved to Boston and I was looking for someone for my hair and amaci salon was one of many that popped up then I was in a situation that I have very important event in new york and I need to be there and sure I need to my hair to be done, I forget to mention that my hair was in very very bad condition as someone without mentioning names just messed up everything so it just look so aweful not healthy and because of that I was wearing my hats almost most of the time.. I took risk and went to Amaci salon and actually I was lucky enough that he ahned himself the owero did my hair...he was just amazing person..very understanding he listened to me and he knows excacex what he is doing..he did great job choosing the color, he did an amazing job cutting the hair..he was down to earth with me..made me feel so comfortable and home..he gave me my healthy hair back..he didn't let me go till he sees my smile back on my face ..you can tell he care about his customer..he does his job because he loves what he is doing! .not to mention Hannah the beautiful girl she did my eye brows , I heard that it hurts but trust me she is like a magic you wouldn't feel nothing... everyone there the receptionist, another nice girl who washed my hair, Adam...everyone there just super nice and friendly.. It was great great experience and I can't wait to go back again!! Thank you so much Ahmed and all your team
Sarah M. is the best! I have been getting my hair cut and highlighted by her for a few years now. I have VERY thick hair that takes a long time to do. Sarah is the first stylist that I found who actually takes the time to do my hair properly (sometimes 3-4 hours!), rather than rush through. She listens to exactly what I want and delivers above and beyond. I always leave the salon feeling like my hair looks so much healthier than before. She also has given me great tips and recommendations for hair care and styling at home. Since I started seeing Sarah I get a lot of questions about who colors my hair and some people even compliment it thinking it is my natural color. Beyond this Sarah and everyone else at Amaci are so friendly and welcoming and provide great service. I definitely recommend booking your next hair appointment here!
I got a Groupon for Amaci Salon because I needed to find a local stylist. I purchased a haircut with a "junior" stylist. I was lucky to see Karina Lemus who is FAR from junior in skill and level or care. She was Amazing and so was my cut! The woman that answered my call & questions was also extremely helpful and kind! Highly recommend :)
THE BEST HAIR CUT!! From coast to coast! I’m from Los Angeles and have lived in Boston the last year. I’ve gotten hair cuts in Beverly Hills and the cut by Amad at Amaci Salon surpasses all. I’m a doctor and I need the hair out of my way. You would think that a simple trim would suffice. This ‘simple’ cut took an hour. Wash, then cut, the dry, then refine the cut. My hair looks sofisticated and elegant- from all directions. Star quality! I watched other stylists in the salon— they were all skilled. The shop is modern, cheerful and clean. I had a Brazilian blowout done here 5 months ago and it’s still holding. Parking is available on the street, or at the Revere hotel- for less than the Public parking lots. They take pride in providing a quality experience and professional result.
Absolutely love this salon! My husband and I always leave very happy!! My hair ALWAYS comes out incredibly amazing! Amad did an amazing job with my balayage! He is super friendly and treats your hair like arts! Definitely highly recommended!
I had the best experience at this salon!! I went in very nervous and with pretty low expectations, but left with one of the BEST haircuts I've ever gotten. I have never been more pleased with the color and quality of a haircut or balayage before. The service was outright amazing; everyone was so kind and attentive. I will definitely be coming back!
