People are really helpful and friendly. I was dreading going back to school. But the admissions counselors really eased my doubts and fears by making my enrollment process as easy and simple as counting from one to three.

It satisfied my urge to be near a big city, but campus life was small enough to give me that "small town" feel. I loved all 4 years and met a lot of incredible staff members and student/athletes.

I went on a college visit a few weeks into my senior year and fell in love. The diversity of the students and campus was what I was looking for. I applied days later and was happy to be excepted. They're so helpful when I have questions and they answer them and make everything easier to understand.

Avila grad here. The faculty was great along with the quality of education. Avila is also generous with scholarships; however, folks need to seriously consider the amount of student loan debt they will likely incur before choosing Avila. Tuition is substantially higher than the public universities in the Kansas City area. Two years at Avila cost me almost $50,000.00. Also, upon entering the workforce after college, my experience has been that Avila doesn't have the same name recognition as a school like KU, despite the fact that Avila may be, arguably, a better school. Bottom line: If you're borrowing money for college, Avila's price premium will likely not prove to be justified.

I got an excellent education at Avila! After attending both a traditional state university and junior college I can confidently say that Avila has the most outstanding staff. I felt like professors took a genuine interest in students and it made it that much easier to learn. While small, Avila has a diverse student population, making it easy to get to know and relate to a wide variety of students. I also love Avila's commitment to the community. Keep up the good work!

Terrible place to play a high school level championship game. On a football field, seriously? Temporary fence for an outfield wall? Bad idea all around!
