Company Description
Azalina Eusope, a fifth-generation street food vendor, moved to San Francisco a decade ago. The only thing that could comfort her in the early days settling in and learning English was the food she grew up eating, so the pasty-trained chef cooked for herself, family and friends often.

Tamarind duck curry and fried chicken, say no more. I actually love The Market, brilliant collection of all types of food, but Azalina's is fabulous. Use of such fresh ingredients makes so much difference, but being able to so expertly balance spices and flavors is impressive. Even with an assortment of options all in the same place, you wouldn't be disappointed or miss out to have a meal here.
After only coming to Azalina's a few times, it has quickly become one of my go-to places in the Market for lunch or dinner. I came here based on a recommendation from a friend (probably wouldn't have come across it otherwise since it's hidden in the corner of the Market), and she told me to try the fried chicken. It was so good (good taste, good texture, good consistency, good temperature, etc.) that I ended up ordering it again the next time I swung by here. It also comes with rice and salad so it's a pretty balanced meal. My bf tried the Laksa noodles since he's had them at work before - he said they were good, but not as good as they are when catered at his office lol. Not sure how authentic it is, admittedly, but it's good so you should try it at least once if you haven't already ;)
Great location for tasty Malaysian food. Got there about one, it wasn't busy. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back.
