I had used Azucar in the past for work functions and they were great! After striking out multiple times with other wedding cake vendors (and being horribly disappointed with service &/or product), we decided to check out Azucar's cake tasting AND WERE BLOWN AWAY!!! Their professionalism and culinary ability were outstanding! We had NO cake leftover - which was shocking but awesome! Would definitely recommend 100%!!!
I called today for our anniversary cake and realized I forgot to review them after our wedding! We got the most delicious cake, two top tiers zucchini and two bottom tiers spice apple for our wedding last November! Our experience with Azucar was great. We got to taste amazing cakes during the tasting and everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Their coffee was excellent! Then on wedding day, we forgot the cake topper back at home and could not get it before wedding time - Danielo was able to arrange the flowers beautifully into the cake - no topper was necessary! I wish I could review their actual product but I was unable to get that far with them. It's enough of a drive for me that I have to make a day out of cake tasting when I come to denver. I scheduled a cake tasting and their system "lost" my appointment when I called to verify I was told sorry this happens and to just reschedule for a different day. Considering they charge for tasting and didnt even try to work with me just makes me feel like they dont actually care about my business.
Hands down best cakes in town!! The glamour selection is amazing. Danielo was awesome helping us pick the right cake for our wedding. Thank you all very much.
Great customer service even better cakes really made my holiday and left an impression. Thank you guys the German Chocolate Cake was perfect.
Been to their in house cafe a few times (super yummy!) and decided to use them for our wedding cak . Everyone is super friendly and they were able to create exactly what we wanted and even let us mix and match some of the flavor combinations they offer. We're still hearing comments from our friends about how awesome their marshmallow fondant is!
I absolutely loved the cake! The guava flavor wasn't the best but everything else was excellent. Will order again. Thank you!!
I recommend this bakery, in general, but absolutely for Wedding Cakes. Our son and beautiful bride, love offroading and wanted a unique cake that included a Ford pickup truck. This cake was amazing. The details in the truck were incredible. The "mud" was realistic, but tasted even better than it looked. The Baker delivered and setup the cake on site with no issues whatsoever. And lastly, the cake flavor was some of the best tasting cake ever. Don't go anywhere else for your Wedding Cake!
My wife and I got married this past July and we chose Azucar. We were so impressed by the quality of their desserts on our big day. We made some specific requests to match the theme of sunflowers and mountains for our wedding and they were able to match them perfectly on our cutting cake. The hardest part of our experience with Azucar was choosing which of the many different delicious and unique types of cupcakes we would use on our big day! We would highly recommend Azucar for your next event!
