I signed up with my girlfriend for salsa classes as a present, and could not have chosen better! Our weekly classes at Ballroom Dance Chicago fill us with joy for the rest of the week. Matthew has been our instructor this far, and not only he knows how to teach, but also makes us enjoy learning! I really recommend this experience.

I just started taking lessons here in July and had never taken dance classes before. I have been blown away by the welcoming environment, the friendly and skilled staff, the ease of feeling comfortable in the space, and the quality of teaching. Matthew is an incredible teacher and I have learned so much from him. From day 1, he has been able to pinpoint what was important to work on and has made the learning process fun. I highly recommend this dance studio!

Our experience here was fantastic! We wanted to learn a dance for our “first dance” at our wedding. We had a specific medley of songs put together, and Lydia, our teacher, did an amazing job at putting together a dance that was fun, easy to learn, and hit all the big moments we wanted. Our dance was a huge hit, and we couldn’t have asked for more! Would definitely recommend Lydia and all the teachers at Ballroom dance...they rock!

This has to be the best place to learn to ballroom dance! I came in with very little dance experience and have been dancing for the past five years. Matthew has created a warm and inviting place where the instructors really want to help you have a great experience. I think that learning to dance could be a little awkward but the instructors here make it creative and fun.

We absolutely loved working with Lydia at Ballroom Dance Chicago in the West Loop! Lydia was patient, talented, professional, and so much fun to work with. She brought our First Dance to life by making us feel comfortable and confident with her warm energy. We are so appreciative of the opportunity to work with her and even want to come back for more now that our wedding is over!

First time taking dance classes, we signed up to get ready for our First Dance at our wedding and had a wonderful experience! The studio is very laid back and welcoming. Annamarie got us moving like experts in a few weeks. She was a great teacher and felt like more of a friend by the end of lessons. Highly recommend - wonderful neighborhood spot with open arms and great energy!

My wife and I took lessons here for our first dance. We were very pleased with the result - Annemarie taught us a routine that wowed our guests. She was great to work with! The lessons were fun, relaxed and something that we looked forward to during the week and leading up to the wedding. Its clear that the instructors at Ballroom dance care for and are invested in their students. Overall, I'd highly recommend them for anyone.

Had a great experience working with Lydia at Ballroom Dance Chicago. My wife and I took classes in preparation for our wedding dance. It started with general lessons to get a feel for what style we liked, and then ended up with a custom dance which we nail on our wedding day! Lydia did a great job creating a positive environment which made us really look forward to each week's class. I'm not a natural dancer, so for me it was a good thing that the classes were fun. I would recommend this studio for anyone who wants to learn to dance for any reason.

I am thrilled that my then fiance and now wife found Ballroom Dance Chicago. We worked with Annamarie who made us both feel very comfortable, choreographed our first dance and taught us how to dance together. As someone with zero dance experience, we got nothing but compliments on our first dance. Annamarie is wonderful to work with, extremely patience and knows how to tailor her teaching method to suit the person. I would highly recommend taking lessons from her. Now that the wedding is over, we plan on going back to take more private lessons with Annamarie!
