I was advised by my primary dentist that I needed to schedule an appointment with a periodontitis, because my gum-line on one tooth had significantly receded. I’m a cancer survivor and I noticed this recession, during my chemotherapy treatment and we suspect the chemo exacerbated the recession. After my primary dentist explained how to address this recession issue, I became reluctant to proceed with the process. Although I’ve had quite a bit of dental work done (including a number of root canals), I was very apprehensive about having this procedure. As a man, who’s retired from the police department after 33 years of service, and being a cancer survivor, my biggest concern was (wait for it); was this going to be painful (I don’t like pain). However, due to my primary dentist’s insistence, and my subsequent conciliation with Dr. Warren, I was advised that this was indeed a necessary procedure, if I wanted protect the integrity of that tooth, and subsequently the other teeth adjacent to that tooth. Having a lot of tripadation about going through this process, I agreed to proceed. My concerns, about pain, could not have been more wrong.
I must say now, for those of you who have been told that you need this surgical procedure, it sounds a lot worse than it actually is. I had no pain. Let me repeat that, “I had no pain.” Dr Warren, along with her assistance Jose’, and Keshia, were wonderful. Dr. Warren called me, prior to my first conciliation, to ask if I had any questions. It totally took me by surprise, that a doctor would take the time to call, prior to my meeting her. During the conciliation, she explained the entire procedure and she addressed my biggest concern; pain, during the procedure, and post surgery. She gave me the option of having conscious sedation, and I took it. I must say, aside from having Dr Warren conduct my procedure, Conscious Sedation was the best decision. Although, I’m not sure why it’s called conscious sedation, because once the procedure began, I don’t remember ever being conscious. I followed all of Dr Warren’s and Jose’s post surgery advice, especially about pain management. It worked. Again, I had no pain after, nor post surgery. To be honest, I did have some soreness, when I slept on the same side of my face where the surgery was conducted, but a pain pill quickly remedied that soreness.
I could not be more pleased with Dr. Warren, her staff, and most importantly, the procedure she performed. I would highly recommend anyone requiring periodontal work, to have (Bellaire Periodontics) Dr Warren and her staff treat your needs.
I love coming to see Dr. Warren and her staff, they always treat me like family and I know I will always get the best treatment. I have coming to Bellaire Periodontics and not once have they ever treated me differently, from the moment I walk in to the moment I walk out it’s an amazing experience.
The wait was long even though I arrived on time for my appointment. Dr Warren was mean and showed up like I owe her 10 thousand dollars. She was also very dramatic, which made me kinda scared (of my gum problems). Her exam was so painful. (I found a better doctor later, so I can compare the techniques.) Her assistant that day was also very rude. I did not catch his name, but he was very impatient when I was trying to describe my problem. Two stars for the clean facility, the nice front desk, and the very helpful finance lady. I know finding a good periodontist in the network can be frustrating but I really recommend you look somewhere else.

It is very funny for the owner to react like: we do not know you so we couldn’t address your concern. They immediately focus on ‘who wrote that review?’ than ‘what can we do to improve.’
