Stopped in for date night with the wife. We heard it was good and thought we would stop in. We'd night at 6 30 ish and it wasn't extremely busy. Decor was beautiful and very colorful. Chef Samir has his picture and name everywhere and I can't blame him. He has a wonderful restaurant and the food was very good. He even came out and greeted all the tables. Service was acceptable, and the food was worth the wait. We will gladly return when in the area again.

My wife and I visited Greensboro this week, and had two exceptional meals at Chef Samir Shaltout. The food was simply extraordinary! The grape leaves were the best I've ever had, very tender and flavorful, and the pita bread had wonderful texture and taste. Perhaps most remarkable were the lamb chops that we had on our last evening there. They simply melted in our mouths and were seasoned to perfection. The chef there is a genius! I highly recommend Chef Samir Shaltout to anyone looking for gourmet flavors at very reasonable prices.

The perfect restaurant to eat Egyptian food. the food is very yummy. the employees are friendly helpful and professional. Well organized with Egyptian decoration and music, they have a outside sitting area. Chef Samir is an amazing cook. I strongly recommend this place. It a family restaurant, the hours are different. Call before you go.

Enjoyed the Egyptian cuisine but service was really slow. Tables were not cleaned out after customers.Requested for a take out pack and it took forever before my partner decided to walk up to them and pick it.If you need a first hand history of Egypt,then please don't hesitate to visit.

This place was beautiful in the inside, the wall borders looked hand crafted with Egyptian design!! The food was superb, with a truly authentic Mediterranean feel! If you are looking for a restaurant that will take you away on a journey of the mind this is the place.. I will definitely be returning in the very near future 👌🙌😁

Great care is taken taken.in the preparation of the food here and it is excellent. My husband had the salmon which he loved. I had the shawarma and it is awesome. I recommend trying the Egyptian tea which was delicious . The chef is personable and visits the tables if he can. I cannot recommend enough.

I got a chicken kabob with half rice and half salad. It was delicious. It was very well cooked and had enough taste. The rice was very yummy. The inside has a very nice decoration. You can take a look and get familiar with Egyptian famous people.

Absolutely delicious food! Everything we ordered was amazing! The tahini is the best I’ve ever had in the States. This is my new favorite place to eat now. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. Though do be aware that you’re probably not going to get in and out fast. The experience is to be savored, not rushed through like typical American dining experiences.

This place is AMAZING! Tonight was my first time eating Egyptian food, and wow it was super! I will definitely be back! The chef personally takes time to check on the tables. The food here ranges around $15-20 for entrees and the portions are large. If you are a cheaper diner, you surely could dine here and split a dish. Super happy and highly recommend.
