In 2015, CrispyOrGrilled opened Houston’s first food truck dedicatd to the amazing food of chicken. Despite opening several different restaurant concepts which were all successful, our founder always longed for the simpler days of his childhood, which were full of his family’s amazing chicken in all sorts of varieties.

Had this experience at an event they were catering food at. The buffalo chx sandwich was amazingly delicious and had the PERFECT amount of heat. I was truly impressed. Plus the owner of the food truck was so nice and that made it that much better!
Fast food done well but a little better separation from the also-rans would be desirable. The challenge with dispensing culinary "arts" from a food-truck is well documented as readily apparent from the diminishing menu items as the evening wears on. Arrived here late (9:30 PM is late?) in the evening and some of the hard-to-get elsewhere items were sold out already. Perhaps there is an opportunity for a graduate student (at nearby UH) to develop an Operations Research quantitative model to help these food truck establishments succeed. There are proven models for these purposes that are in daily use (impervious to customers, of course). The food truck operators will soon achieve their growth targets. The enthusiasm of the owners should be level set such that customers, on average, are able to order from the regularly advertised menu.
Tastes like cafeteria food. Chicken tasted like frozen store bought chicken tenders. Fries were not crispy and tasted like cafeteria fries. The only thing that tasted good was the bun.
Staff was great very helpful and very friendly. They we're very knowledgeable about the drinks I was asking for. I tend to drink none traditional and they took care of me and did not over price me for doing so. I recommend they have my endorsement.
Who decided it was a good idea to place a HALAL food truck inside a BAR? You can’t even eat here unless you are 21. Don’t even waste your time
The Buffalo Blue cheese chicken sandwich was superb, honestly the best buffalo blue cheese sandwich I've had. Everybody usually floods the chicken in sauce, this one had the right amount with a nice zing to it. The seasonings and the crisp on them was A1👌 The blue cheese crumbs gave it a nice savory balance, but the bun, the bun was a work of art on its own! Holds everything perfectly with good flavor and texture. The jalapeno ranch fries were cool as well, cooked perfectly with a nice crisp to them. I enjoyed the flavor of the ranch and the green onions added fresh note.
I had the South of the Border Tacos and they were alright. It basically tasted like a well cooked chicken tender in a tortilla. There was not that much flavor or spice in the sauce or salsa which was very disappointing.
Cold dry tough precooked chicken, with hot sauce on top very basic.
I ordered the buffalo chicken fries, and they were delicious. This is the quality I'm looking for when I go to a food truck. The prices were fair, especially in comparison to other food trucks. Service was fast. I will definitely be going back!
