HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! THEIR BILLING DEPARTMENT CUSTOMER SERVICE REALLY SUCKS !!!! HORRIBLE, NO ONE CALLS BACK OR ANSWER THE PHONE. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY CORE VALUES, WHY HECK ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS? SMH AT THE ENTIRE FACILITY TEAM INCLUDING THE PHYSICIANS AND NURSES! ALL THEY DO IS TRANSFER YOU TO VOICE MAILS AND EXPECT YOU TO PAY BILLS THAT THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAS SETTLED!!!!! PLEASE USE DIFFERENT FACILITY OR PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS
Came here for an out-patient procedure, it was the closest facility to my house that: 1) my doctor worked in, and 2) was in my network. Wasn't sure what to expect, but everything went well. It took longer than expected to check in due to who-knows-what kind of administrative procedure that was messed up, but after that, no problems.
Every person I interacted with, from the check in person, to nurses, aids, and doctors, were polite, pleasant and caring. Overall, it took a little longer than I was expecting, but I don't think I can blame anyone's incompetence, that's just how it is with doctors, some procedures take longer than others, and ends up pushing appointments back.
Very expensive they overcharged you they bill you out big time the doctor was rude also don’t recommend..
The emergency registration, African American curly hair “lady” is just the most rude person I’ve encountered in any hospital, she doesn’t care that if you’re there it’s actually an EMERGENCY and will just talk to you like you’re there to bother her.
My husband's surgery was scheduled for 4.30pm and we were asked to check in at 2.00pm. When we went there, no one had a clue and kept sending us to different areas. Then they said they were trying to get authorization from our insurance for overnight stay, even though our doctor had clearly indicated it was Outpatient Surgery.
After making us wait for more than 4 hours, they said they do not have the right equipment to do the procedure and told us to go to Fort Worth hospital!
Never ever seen such an inefficient, incompetent hospital in the US.
Felt like we were in a poor, third world country!
Dr. Sophia Rahman (9 Medical Parkway, Plaza 4, Suite 301) took over Dr. Charles Loehr's practice when he retired. Though he was a proponent of seasonal allergy steroid shots, she does not believe in them and will not provide them to her patients. It would have been nice to know this before I wasted my time and money going to her for a preemptive attack on a sinus infection. Maybe she's one of the fortunate ones who doesn't suffer from this affliction, but her objection is reason enough for me to seek a new primary care physician, as allergies are predominantly why I schedule emergent visits. Otherwise, she was great when I went to get my flu vaccination.
This hospital is horrible my son went last night said nurse said rude comments and also last time i went i didnt like the conversation had with one of the nurses they are not friendly at all they act like they dont want to work i never went there again i rather travel 20 min then to go there again
I started getting calls and bills from a shady collections agency. It turns out the collections agency works for Dallas Medical Center. Dallas Medical Center sent me to collections for an invoice from two years ago. Dallas Medical Center never once contacted me about this bill before sending it off to the collections agency. What makes this especially frustrating is that I have health insurance and paid my co-pays at the time of my visit. My health insurance company never said anything about refusing to cover this. This is bad business practice.
I was seen here twice in the ER. Both times the wait was short and I was seen quickly. The first doctor I saw was really nice and helpful. The other doctor didn't have a great bedside manner, but both times I was taken good care of and the nurses were great. I would recommend this hospital.
I would recommend any family member or friend to have their surgery at Dallas Medical Center. The staff was very professional and personable and went beyond the call of duty to make the patient's family as comfortable as possible in the waiting areas. I would like to give a special commendation to Kent Cunningham (Liason) who was very helpful to my family members in so many ways. We appreciate your kindness and professionalism
