Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service and staff that I would expect from the DePoe eye center (being a patient of Dr Laura DePoe for roughly 15 years now).

It would probably be more economically viable to rent a limousine and go to lenscrafters.

Any Georgia Tech students who were jaded by the terrible service of the last optometrists who were in the Student Center should rejoice. The new eye center has a truly competent staff and aren't pulling any shady schemes. I placed an order for contacts and they arrived for me *the next day* (although that kind of speed is not guaranteed); I got all the contacts that I ordered, and amazingly they weren't trial lenses! (Anyone who went to the last Student Center optometrist will understand what I mean by that) We finally have the eye care center that Georgia Tech students deserve.

I would honestly give negative stars if possible. I mentioned my regular contacts brand and she waved it off, gave me samples for contacts from the same company and told me to pick one. I insisted the whole time I wanted a prescription for the contacts I had previously, and after all services are done and paid for she finally decides to mention that she won't prescribe them at all and won't change my prescription. The brand she stuck me with is 80-320 dollars more expensive per year, and the real kicker is that of course it is her company selling it at the lowest price difference. Go somewhere else. Unless you are already getting the high-end contacts brands, you will probably find your costs increasing with no alternative options.

I went there to get prescriptions for my lenses. First the doctor insisted in making me try lenses that I'm not used to it. After that, I had to redo the exam multiple times because the doctor would always be in a hurry when receiving me. Next, I asked for the type of lenses I usually have. And guess what, they ordered the wrong ones. After a month half blind, I went back and asked the right ones, but for whatever reason they lost my prescription and I had to redo the exam. Now, I asked for my prescription 45 days ago and still haven't received it. I'm still asking by e-mail for it every other week. Never regret choosing a doctor so much.

Everyone here was great! The doctor was really knowledgeable and answered all my random questions about how the eyes work. The appt was quick and painless! Very nice woman. Zeke (sp?) Was really great and educated me about utilizing my insurance. I was originally going to buy an inexpensive pair online, but Zeke taught me that the insurance will pay for most of it! I found a pair that the frame was completely covered by my insurance. I was so happy! Glad he took the time in helping me because I was very stubborn not to spend money at the beginning. But he was great. The lady who booked my appt was great. I literally walked in and was able to be seen same day. She answered all of my insurance questions as well. Such a good, happy, and quick experience!

The worst service I have ever seen during my life; they do not provide you the complete prescription, so how can you order or look around to buy an appropriate glass? Although some measures should be mentioned in the prescription, they refuse to provide these measurements, and instead telling you that when you want to buy a frame and glasses from us we will do those measurements; so "professional" !!!! if I could, definitely I will give negative stars.

Doctor was extremely nice, so professional and patient. Staff are also very nice. The only negative is that you have to provide all your personal information in the waiting area which is shared with those who are already looking at frames or waiting for their appointments. The exam itself is conducted in a separate, small room.

The visit was quick, friendly and efficient. All the staff was courteous and helpful when I asked info. I didn't wait long before the visit. The doctor was very nice and explained everything in detail. I definitely recommend.
