Wonderful man who Actually cares about his patients.
After seeing several doctors who specialize in this field I was very pleased with how I was treated by Dr Blixt and his staff !Typically,when seeing an "addiction" specialist,I have been treated like an addict with no set goals or treatment plan.However,this was not the case with Dr Blixt,he has walked me through every aspect of recovery and relapses. I am sure that most individuals will understand the concept,that "shamed" or "guilty" feeling you get with every visit,Anything negative that I had experienced previously with other doctors has been positive with Dr Blixt....starting from my initial consultation (he does not sugar coat things and he holds me accountable for all of my actions) He is very understanding when it comes to seeing me through medical procedures that will inevitably involve more prescription pain killers.......knowing the difference between chemical dependency,relapsing scares and proper dosages during these infrequent periods helps immensely! I have read the reviews regarding his fee and all I can say is I would rather spend $150 a month for his services rather $150 a day for pills! The office staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful as well,they have never made me feel uncomfortable,guilty or ashamed! They know my name,they greet me,ask about my family and make me feel at ease.....again,always a positive experience !
A remarkable office staff, a doctor that is actually personable, doesn't mind sitting and talking with you, no matter how long it takes, gets to the point and helps you come up with the best course of action, helps you make a plan and willing to assist you in staying with that plan... great doctor, very pleased with all of my outcomes since coming here.
Good man who wont treat u like a second class citizen. And he was just as excited about sublocade as I am so I definitely recommend seeing this doctor
I would like to say Dr blixt is one of the best doctor I have had in my life! He is very down to earth understanding man that can relate to u on a personal level. And will help in any and all way that he can with mental and physical help. Definitely worth going to
I was a patient of his fathers and then I remember when he took over the practice they both are outstanding human beings and doctors. When I went to his father it was for my weight. I'm glad to see that his son has expanded the practice. It was rare back then for them to take on new patients. It typically only happened if it was by referral from a current patient. That just shows you how good they are.
