Dr. Vemuri specializes in the treatment of and procedures related to diseases of the spine. He received the Orthopaedic Student of the Year award for excellence in orthopaedics from Midwestern University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following his position as Chief Resident during his final year of residency in orthopaedic surgery, he went on to complete advanced training in orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery.

Excellent medical care provided. Highly recommended for best health care and recovery. Dr. Vemuri and Megan Courtney took great concern to help me with controlling disadvantages of spinal stenosis. Definitely, "A five star place to look for great results."
I honestly don't think this office deserves any stars. The office staff is very unfriendly and have no clue what they're doing. My surgery was canceled 3 times supposedly due to insurance, and every time they only gave me a 2 day notice. I get that things happen but come on. Really? As if I had no job to let know and no plans. Absolutely ridiculous and incompetent. After it was canceled the 3rd time he referred me out to another Dr and it went right through with no issues, which tells me the office staff didn't have a clue what they were doing. I'll never refer anyone to them nor would I ever return.
I've had two appointments and Dr. Vemuri has been great.
The doctor will tell you that you are off from work for weeks but when you check out to get your off from work note, they say the doctor didn't indicate that you are off from work...had to wait 20 minutes and still didn't get the note...it was mailed to me. Was originally told that my rt shoulder and arm was hurting and weak due to neck problems...had surgery on neck and shoulder and arm still hurt. Now I have to see shoulder doctor...it's like they aren't really listening to you. Dr Vemuri is an excellent surgeon though.
I would rate Dr. Vemuri a 0 star if it was an option. After waiting an hour and a half after my appointment time before finally being graced with his presence he didn't even bother with introductions he spends a total of 90 seconds with me not showing any interest in my concerns before leaving my room not even letting me know the appointment was over. I waited for him to come back, when I realized he wasn't I found the receptionist at the front desk she then let's me know how much my copay would be. I about lost it. I had to pay to be treated with such awful service. Do not go to them! I had the same awful service with Dr. Robertson there. The whole practice is a joke. I have never in my life written a review on someone but I need everyone to know to stay away from that office! They should not be in practice!
Dr. Vermuri was kind and really acted like he cared about you as a person. I have recommended him to a good friend.
Dr. Vemuri is a wonderful surgeon! I have had two operations with him. One year ago I had my big fusion and I was up and walking the same day as surgery. Dr. Venuri has always been very attentive when I was in the hospital. He even changed my dressing once! What surgeon does that now days? If you are having back problems this is the doctor you want!
Dr. Vemuri is direct and to the point. I like that. He is very intelligent and explained my situation very clearly (which i desperately wanted to know the "whys"). Now we are beginning the effort to "fix" it. I can't wait to get better. I wanted to post a review because my experience with Dr. Vemuri has been great. I believe in his intelligence and education. He is a busy man, so he efficiently gets to the point. Again, I like that. I came to him for help with my injury, not to be entertained. He is serious, and very smart...I feel in good hands!
I had pain for years. Couldn't sleep for the pain running down my legs. Dr. Vemuri did surgery and after I recovered from the anesthesia I had NO pain. I was up and walking the next morning.
Doctors office was clean and yo to date. Check in paperwork was easy and done electronically. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Vemuri was personable, professional, inquisitive and instructive. He was able to view my MRI and X-ray images in the same room asme and explain everything. I would strongly recommend Dr. Vemuri to anyone in need of his specialty.
