My son graduated from this school and as a father I'm proud of the education my son accomplished over the years. He needed a loan from the school and always paid, now the school has the diploma on hold because they said that he needs to pay the full balance and he was not told that when he started the program 3 years ago. I can see how this type of institution does not care when the student graduates, they do not care at all and I feel bad, he will be better if he did not chose this school from the begining.
I love it here Florida National University feel like home. My lectuer is the best i recommend here for everyone who wants to attend college.
I’m very disappoint with this school . The admistrative department don’t know what their are doing , when you call they never answer the phone 📱 it feels like they don’t care about the student all they want is money . The schechule for the BsN program is a mess , they change every week without giving you the time to organize yourself . The price for the classes are extremely expensive compare to Miami- Dade and other credited and recognized schools . Guys this school is a joke I don’t recommend it to any one . It was a waste of money and time . I hope you read this review so you don’t meke the same mistake I did. Before you enter the BsN programe you have to spent aleast $1000 out of you package to pay Kaplan package , medical insurance etc , I move to another school and they don’t want to refund me the money I spent even though I have not use the Kaplan package .😡😡
I hope this comment gets read by the department of education or media television or any other source and investigate, I just graduated on April from the university and had to get private tuition by them to be paid monthly, I had never miss a payment always on time, I even paid 10 days before the due date, now that I graduated, Words by the president of the school said that I had to pay my whole balance in full which is 10 years from now to receive my diploma. Its not fair for any student to get a diploma on hold even if he or she is making the payments on time, I graduated from the business administration program which was a disaster and even I was discriminated by one of the faculty, I regret every second I spend studying in this so called University. I was told lies so many departments that I lost count. I feel like was played by the school and lied. I will never recommend anyone again to this school SORRY I can't call it a university and I wish I could give it a zero stars instead, do not waste your time if you want to study and not get a degree. I paid my diploma and they accept my money and the administration say that I will not get it if I PAY MY WHOLE BALANCE WHICH IS IN THE THOUSANDS.This is the Worst experience in my life ever!
I don’t recommend you this university because the administration doesn’t know what they are doing specially the financial aide. I spend my time gathering all my papers. I have a bachelor degree and I told them about my loan. Out of nowhere I received a call that I cannot study because I can not get anymore loans. When I was there they told me I was approved for an amount of 35000. Don’t waste your time and spend your money in another institution.
I am still a student at this university, been here for about 6 months (nursing program) and I don’t think I could continue in this school. First the financial aid department call me every week because there is a missing paper. I ve been here for 2 semesters and everything was fine, why now all of the sudden they don’t have the proper information when they still using the same taxes they asked me 5 months ago. And second the clinicals in nursing program isn’t fair because they are not organized at all, they give you the day of the clinical in the same week, so what happens to the people that have to work and pay rent? The reason I came here is because they told me in admisión about the flexibility of the program, which is false. All my friends have quit their jobs because the clinicals don’t let him keep it. I leave MDC to come here because I wanted to finish faster and obviously it was a huge mistake by me, i hope they accept me back because I can’t afford been without working for the rest of the program (15 months). If I have to say something positive about this university is the professors, in special Villasuso who is still teaching me well.
A joke... please don’t waste your time. And to the “Owners” replying to everyone’s negative response, don’t even bother because it’s all B.S. to make you look good. Too bad your reviews are terrible. Straighten your act. “National”? Come on.. are you kidding me?
Excellent costumer service in front desk. Awesome coworkers, instructors, and professors. They help you a lot with everything, and some others treat you more like family. The best university to study and to work too.
I have attended the university for a year and a half and so far all my professors have been good. I do recommend trying to avoid professor Rafael Ramos for your classes if you work full time and have a very busy schedule. He is not flexible at all, and he sends more than 4 home works per week, so if you are going to take one of his classes please make sure to only take his class. I personally will never take one of his classes unless I have to.
'THIS SCHOOL DOES NOT DESERVE A STAR'' SOME TEACHERS ARE WONDERFULLY GOOD OTHERS NOT SO MUCH; BETTER SAID IT IS NOT THAT THEY ARE NOT GOOD ,THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN. WHAT IF IS SUPER BAD '' MORE THAN BAD '', THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR WORK IS THE ADMINISTRATION ARE THE WORST.FINANCIAL AID IS IN THE TOP OF THE WORT LIST . I HAD NEVER SEEN A DEPARTMENT SO BAD. I THINK THEY WORK FOR WORKING THEY DON'T HELP THE STUDENTS. BUT I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT THAT THE PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THE FRONT DESK ARE WONDERFUL.
