I was helped pretty quickly and my sales person made everything as easy as possible and even volunteered to drive my new car over to me.
Ardy was awesome! She greeted me at the door with a big smile. I explained what I wanted. She took care of it all. There was no long haggling or unnecessary sales pitch. On our test drive she showed me all of the cool features. Then after papers were signed she took the time to go through the guide and mark important pages. After a few days she even called to check on me to see if I had questions or concerns. I came in as a customer and left feeling like part of the Garcia family! Thank you Ardy.
Poor service, we will never do business here again. Wife and I leased a car on 10/13, it's now 12/6 and they still have not finished our paperwork or paid off our trade-in. We've signed 3 separate lease agreements because they can't seem to get it right and we have to nag and nag and nag to get any sort of response from CJ. Do not recommend to anyone.
I'm very happy that I purchased a new Crosstrek from Garcia-East. Ardy Reed was awesome to work with - she was very attentive to my needs, stayed in close contact (without being over-bearing), and worked hard to make sure that I was happy. I strongly recommend Ardy and Garcia-East to anyone interested in buying a Subaru.
Sales team is awesome. Service team is extremely rude, condescending and dismissive. Wish I could go somewhere else but our warranty is with them.
Absolutely best car buying experience! Josh Coleman was my sells-man, there was never any pressure and he listened to what I wanted and found me the perfect car! The GM Ryan was a part of my overall transaction and made sure I was excited happy and comfortable. Finance was amazing! Never tried to force me into any backend products, he gave me my options wrote the paperwork up and I was out in less then 10 minutes. 100% honest dealership which is 100% rare. Thank you Garcia Subaru for an amazing experience.
Very kind and helpful staff. They allowed us to check out the new Subaru Ascent without badgering us to buy.
I was disappointed with my experience at Garcia Subaru for a few reasons. First off, being military, I travel frequently and have had my car serviced at various Subaru dealers throughout the country, but all at licensed Subaru dealers. I was told during a standard maintenance visit that “whoever rotated your tires last messed up one of the lugs”. I responded, “that was at a licensed Subaru dealership”. I was told that I would have to take the issue up with them since it was a different dealership than Garcia. There was no attempt to make the issue right on behalf of a fellow Subaru dealership (not even a call). I can somewhat understand where they were coming from, “Not us, not our problem” but if this is the way it will be every time I have to move for work (3 times so far since owning this car), than I would rather go back to owning a BMW where the service is better than average.
I was also told that I would be notified when my vehicle would be ready after dropping it off in the morning, however that never happened and my car remained there overnight for no reason. I was apologized to for this, so it was not the end of the world.
I absolutely DO NOT trust their mechanic’s vehicle inspections during routine maintenance. It is apparent that they pencil whip inspections as I knew that one of my headlights was out before dropping the car off and yet they marked my headlights as green/good. They also marked my cabin air filter as yellow/needing replacement soon although I just replaced it the other week. I know that getting behind the glove box to properly inspect the filter and walk in front of the car to check the lights may take a minute or two, but it’s part of the advertised inspection. These were undeniable signs that I cannot trust any inspection that this team accomplishes. To further highlight the fact that they mark items as inspected and complete, without having been, they annotated my car as having been washed although I received it back in the same condition (filthy from all of the snow and road salt).
Sadly, Garcia Subaru is the only option here in Albuquerque and I have no choice but to remain patient and take the service that I can get until I move again.
I hate to leave such a negative review about a company that my wife and I have grown to love based on our previous excellent experiences with them. On a positive note, although the service was sub standard, our service rep, Michael, was always polite and the shuttle driver, Ray, was prompt and professional.
Update: Following the owner's response to my original review, I attempted to call Ryan as directed and left a voicemail when I was transferred to his line. It has been 2 weeks and I have not received a response from Subaru.
The folks at Garcia we’re most accommodating and helpful. Would recommend them to anyone who wishes to purchase a Subaru.
Ardy Reed, the salesperson, worked steadily and quickly to get the car I was interested in and the trade-in deal done very quickly with the Garcia team. A delightful experience!
This is a decent place to buy a car, but it's really frustrating to deal with the service department. Nobody ever answers the phone, and they won't return your calls. You pretty much have to go there in person just to make an appointment or ask a question. Also the extended warranties that they sell are a joke. Nothing ever seems to be covered.
