Today was my first time coming to Hairitage and it will be my last. For starters my stylist Latasha gave me a set price of $50 for finger waves, but I was unable to receive the style because I have short natural hair. We then agreed that I would just have it flat ironed. The wash was great, but once I got to the chair, she just combed through my hair like it was nothing. I had genuine tears running down my face. As she began to flat iron my hair I automatically knew I wasn’t going to like it and at that point I just wanted out of the chair. When she finished, it was what I expected (trash). I looked like a 5 year old, she didn’t even try to style it. It was time to pay her the original price of $50, then she finally told me, “oh after the silk press, it’s now $65”. Word of advice let people know when relevant things like the price changes. I gave her her money for the service of course, but that will be the absolute last time.

Shalamar hooked me up in a clench after being let down by other stylist in the city. I’d just gotten off work and was tired as hell. She was quick and professional. Most importantly she does a great job and was able to get me out in a timely manner. I travel to some some rough cities so I hate lingering in shops too long waiting. With time permitting she will be my primary stylist from now on when I’m in town.
