Dr. Insel has been my internist and cardiologist for more than 20 years. I found him through good friends when my blood pressure was 180/120, was away on business and totally freaked out about what to do. He came up with a treatment plan and I have worked with him ever since to stay in excellent health. He is extremely knowledgeable, very personable and has a curiosity about even the “mundane, everyday work” that internists and cardiologists do. He is current on medical information and takes time to answer questions so you understand the answer. He has an excellent staff and stays on his schedule within 5 – 10 minutes of appointments that I have had. When I needed to see a specialist, Dr. Insel has made excellent referrals for me and always follows up later to see how the referral was. I would highly recommend Dr. Insel to anyone needing a general internist with a specialty in Cardiology.

My mother has been a patient for 25 years. Dr. Insel is an excellent cardiologist. He is caring, compassionate and treats her with kindness and dignity. He never rushes her and she would highly recommend him. All doctors should be as kind as Dr. Insel.

Absolutely fabulous experience, would definitely recommend Dr Insel and his entire team. Rita at the reception is very friendly and efficient as are the team of nurses. Dr Insel exudes experience and expertise (both important especially related to matters of the heart) but what sets him apart is how warm, friendly and calm he is. I saw him twice in 48 hours and although I was nervous about the outcome of the tests, he guided me through everything in a manner where I knew that even if I needed further care I would be in the right hands.

Dr. Insel is excellent. He is a great listener as well as extremely knowledgeable which truly sets him apart because it seems nothing gets past him.
