There was no AC turned on even when the temperature outside was 85+ . The momos we ordered were good but we couldn't enjoy them in the restaurant so we just packed them and took as a to go order.
Tasty momo aka dumplings
One of the best places to watch the sunset in Cleveland. Unfortunately dogs and their owners are a lot more welcome here than families with kids. Leash laws are rarely observed and your space will be constantly invaded. It is what it is. It wasn't always like this. I accept the loss and have moved on to another secret spot until OH pet owners find that one too.
STOP! Starve to death but do not go in there. Best place to ruin your perfect day. Lot of loitering around and very very unprofessional and equally worst customer service. If you want a day old food microwaved and served to you then this is your place.
Worst experience ever in a resturant. Wanted a peaceful meal but a drunk who was probably a regular or a relative to the owner kept bothering us and later tried to create an argument over nothing. It was such a bad environment that had to leave without finish the meal.
I wanted to try this place out as it was the only Nepali resturant around the place. It wasn't a good experience and I ended up leaving without ordering any food. The front of the resturant was uncleaned. The service was very blunt and we were told the food we wanted to order would take 30 minutes to cook, even though it was 8pm on a Saturday and there wasn't anyone else there. I don't think I will be going back and I won't be recommending this place to anyone I know.
Welcome to CLE, Himalayan Restaurant. Seriously good food. It has been years since I've had Himalayan cuisine. One word of caution if you're not a big spicy food fan, ask for assistance picking out your dish because thing labeled "mild" are actually pretty spicy. I can't imagine what things labeled spicy actually taste like! Nonetheless everything we had was good and service was impeccable.
The first few times I went here it was awesome. Was craving the food after. The last time I went here it went so downhill, I probably won’t be back. It smelled like cigarette smoke in there, there was a loud party going on in the back, the service was not good, it was dirty, and the food didn’t taste the same to me as it had prior. couldn’t wait to get out of there, unfortunately. My sister felt the same.
Great service, and great authentic Nepali & Indian food. We were served attentively by the Nepali owner himself. He told us all the cooks are his nepali family and himself. We asked him what was the most nepali item on the menu. He recommended the plate of dumplings and noodle soup. My wife and I split a plate of vegetable dumplings and flatbread. It came with a spicy dipping sauce. All very good. We'd like to go back to try other dishes!
Momo here is delicious! We had issues with something else via Über Eats but they were kind enough to refund the entire order to us! We appreciate this and will be back. Thank you 🙏!
