Chef and owner Morty Parsa first opened the doors to Kasra in 1999 at its original location in Westchase. Since the beginning, he has upheld an important standard to, "serve the most authentic Persian food with the best quality ingredients."

Tried this due to the high ratings and recommendation but were not impressed. The chicken kebabs(burg) came out raw literally pink inside. Had to ask the waiter to redo them and he just took the one piece and grilled it again. But it was too late for daughter to eat the chicken after seeing the pink I side she wouldn't touch the chicken even after it was recooked. The taste on Koobideh beef kebab was decent. Just that we went in expecting some amazing food and it turned out to be just ordinary maybe even worse due to the raw chicken.
Always delicious, and the service is consistently great. I'm still exploring the menu. Looking forward to further visits!
I was here with a group of seven coworkers on a Friday. I had the Friday lunch special, which was a steak kabob. The steak was juicy and tender. I was cutting it with my fork. It was cooked medium as I had asked it to be. Even though the place was crowded, we were able to have a conversation without needing to yell.
Food and service were GREAT! Everything had really good flavor and was cooked prefectly. I can't wait to go back. I keep thinking about my fish and the sauce that the chicken came in.
The food was absolutely amazing. It came quickly without a long wait and was delicious. The staff was very welcoming and sweet. Amazing service. They will check up on you regularly and make sure everything is perfect. I will definitely be coming back here again.
I absolutely love the bread and fresh herbs that they served at the beginning. The bread was hot and the feta cheese was creamy (wish they would give you more feta). The beef kabobs were slightly over cooked but the humus made up for it. Will definitely come back
I have had middle eastern food from just about everywhere and this was truly the best. The meat was so flavorful, tender and juicy. I even had it to-go, and it was better than any other place when I ate in. I will be eating here for a long time.
It's a relaxed casual atmosphere with a large menu, even vegetarian choices. The hummus and bread and salad are out of this world. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I actually got to have vegetarian fessenjan.
Love this place, go often with my family. Great food and calm environment. Staff is always nice and helpful when you go with a large group of people.
Service was great and the food was good. The ambiance was amazing, the diversity of Houston was truly representative. I thought it was weird (and wasteful) to put plastic stirrers in the hot tea and coffee, as well as the individual butter packets with the rice. The dishes were good, although the grilled veggies were quite dry. The hummus was good, but beware, it’s super garlicky (not great for dates :/).
