Strongly recommend Jjajangmeon! We ordered a delivery, but noodles were still good by the time we got the food. Though I think they are famous for Jjambbong, I think jjajangmeon is tastier and the old school. Jjambbong just tasted like a seafood soup and lacked the fiery wok carmelized flavor. The dumplings were good but a bit on the doughy side. Very filling.

Best dumplings in Ktown. Their other dishes are fantastic as well.

The half and half dish is a must, shrimp fried rice is amazing and the kung pao is delish!

Best hole-in-the-wall Chinese joint. For those of you who can never answer the age old question of jja-jang or jjam-ppong let this spot answer the call of half-and-half for $10 bucks! Fantastic stuff!!!!!

I was in Los Angeles for an event, it was four of us. The outside doesn't say" Mandarin Garden" it saids " Mandarin Restaurant " we got a little confused, but the address was right, so we went in. Don't let the look fool you...I'm so glad we went inside. We ordered the fried pot stickers for appetizer, they were fried perfectly. Crisp on the outside moist on ther inside. Golden brown, flavorful. I ordered the Mandarin Fried rice as my main dish (this dish has everything, shrimp, beef, chicken), my daughter got orange chicken, our friend got- Kung Po, and the other got sweet and sour chicken. ALL OF OUR FOOD WAS HOT, AND FRESH!! Both orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken batter was home made. Amazing. We all live in San Diego, but please believe. We will be back. Thank you wonderful hospitality and good food. P.S. it was so much food that we took the rest to go, when I got home. It was sooooo good....yummy

My first experience with Mandarin Garden Restaurantwas delivery. I ordered the dumplings and other things that I can't remember and it was awful. It was cold and chewy and dry and I couldn't figure out why it's so hyped.

Pricey for quality. Mushroom beef was good. Egg rolls meh. Orange chicken cloyingly sweet, little flavor.
