Really upset about ordering from this bakery. Ordered a birthday cake for my boyfriends birthday. Cake design was awesome!!!! I was so excited to taste it but I was so disappointed. I got the strawberry lemonade cake but they didn’t even give me lemon cake, it was vanilla. Cake is sitting in my fridge with one slice out of it. Sucks cause I paid way more than what I was told. Not to mention I live in boulder so it wasn’t the best drive. Only reason I give them 2 stars & not 1 is the design was really cool.
Good selection but pretty pricey and the frosting wasn't sweet enough for me.

Great cupcakes for my niece's birthday dinner. Placed my order in the morning and was ready at the promised time! The Churros cupcakes where the most popular!
I was visiting from NYC and I have to say that this is one of the best bakery’s I have visited! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cupcakes are flavorful but not too rich where you feel like you are having a sugar over load. I highly recommend stopping in!!!!
Unique flavors and beautifully created cupcakes. Oftentimes I find that fancy cupcakes shops sell pretty cupcakes but the cake is dry or not so fresh, but these taste moist and fresh. Cute "hole in the wall" location.
Love this place....seriously. Best cakes, cookies and pies I've ever had. And lucky me that it's located only a block away from where I work. My sweet tooth is consistently satisfied.
Its fun to go in and see their cupcake selection. They are helpful in making a judgement call too! Make sure go early! They can sell out in the afternoons (or late morning!)
I've attended a couple of Stem Ciders and Mermaids Bakery cupcake and cider pairing events in RiNo, so I've been lucky to taste a variety of flavors; and I must say that these cupcakes are by far the best I've every eaten! I love how moist the cupcakes are and the yummy surprise fillings that you occasionally find in the middle, depending on the cupcake. Another thing that I love about Mermaids is their icing! It never seems too sweet. Its creamy and delicious! I highly recommend Mermaids Bakery for any event requiring a touch of sweetness!
Amazing experience!! They made a wonderful custom cake for me that everyone enjoyed so much!! Best bakery in Denver!!
