I had a such a lovely time doing my Maternity photos with Anabella. I could not have imagined a better experience or looking so beautiful. Anabella is an amazing photographer and my only regret is that I did not have her take photos during my first pregnancy.

We had to most wonderful experience with Michael Kormos Photography. Not only did they accommodate us when I reached out last minute, they made my husband and I, and most importantly our 2 week old daughter, feel so relaxed and comfortable in our photo shoot. The photographs are so special and we are going to cherish them forever. We look forward to working with them again as our family grows. I would recommend them over and over again.
Michael is the most professional and patient photographer I've ever seen. He did such a great job bringing my vision for my one year old and family shoot into life and elevated it to the next level!!! He is extremely good at finding the right spot at the right time to create the perfect frame for your photo under the best lighting condition. I love every single picture he shoot for us and I will definitely recommend him. Sophie is such a sweetheart. She got along with my one year old immediately and was able to comfort him and attract his attention to ensure the best expression for the photo. She is well prepared with tools and toys and so experienced with helping children work with the photographer. Highly recommend this couple if you are looking for a beautiful timeless photoshoot.
After researching many photographers in NYC, we decided to take our newborn photos with Michael Kormos Photography. We could not be happier with our decision. The entire process was handled perfectly, from the initial scheduling to the delivery of the photos. They were incredibly responsive throughout. The portrait session was amazing, Sophie was a true baby whisperer that was able to get our little one into beautiful poses with no fuss. The proofs were available incredibly fast and the process for selecting and retouching photos was easy. Thank you so much for everything!
Michael Kormos Photography was a BEYOND FABULOUS experience. The maternity shoot was definitely an out of character experience for me. However, Anabella worked with me wonderfully, making me feel comfortable in my glowing pregnant skin! I’m so EXCITED that I did this maternity shoot, celebrating pregnancy, my body, my bond with my husband, and bringing new life into this world. It was such an empowering experience, as they creatively captured motherhood and a woman’s body in the most graceful manner. I am so blessed to have had such a blissful experience with the ladies of Michael Kormos Photography, and seriously am in awe of the everlasting images from my shoot!!
Michael and Sophie were wonderful to work with. I am a life long amateur photography enthusiast, and we spent a long time looking through countless newborn photographers in New York City, and I hope you can agree with me that Michael's photos stand out above the rest. It really makes a difference that they are a team of two equal partners, as Sophie's vision and attention to detail in designing and executing the poses are as important to the end result as the quality of Michael's skill as a photographer. They came to our apartment and brought all the necessary equipment including professional lighting, a heater, a white noise machine. The turnaround of the edited photos were quick (i think less than a week) and they were beautiful and priceless. Would highly recommend.
I recently had a fabulous experience at my maternity studio shoot with Michael Kormos Photography. The team makes you feel comfortable and beautiful during the whole process, and they know what poses look best to capture the beauty of a pregnant woman. The photos came out SO stunning! I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome!
My husband and I put a lot of thought into picking our maternity photographer as we wanted images that were creative but also timeless, elegant and executed at a high level and so we ended up traveling all the way from Washington, D.C. to Manhattan to shoot with the talented team at Michael Kormos Photography. We could not be happier with this decision! We had a Saturday morning photo session with Annabella a few weeks ago and had so much fun with the experience! We first had the opportunity to share our “inspiration” images via email from the studio’s portfolio so Annabella could prepare the right fabrics and looks ahead of time and she was very diligent about ensuring we had the opportunity to capture the types of looks and moods we wanted during the session. She also kept us relaxed and gave us wonderful direction during the shoot which ensured we looked our best in the photos. The final images were delivered to us very quickly and we are literally THRILLED with the collection – they’re striking, memorable and absolutely on par with the entire beautiful portfolio presented on the studio’s website. We will be looking to schedule future family photography with this wonderful team in the coming months!
