The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Although we were not able to schedule an appt with our availability and needs, they provided an entire list of alternative options and were very thoughtful in their recommendations. Great customer service!!

I ordered the Dahlia Wedding Gown topper on Etsy in February. I had a rocky go with the order to start and ended up not being as in love with the top as I thought. While I had a tough situation to work with, Kpoene and her crew handled my requests with grace and ultimately did everything they could to make me a happy bride, even if it cost the company. I would absolutely recommend her company because it is clear that the customer's happiness is their number one priority. Although it didn't work out for my look to use Kpoene, I still felt like my needs were placed first!

I have worked with the ladies of Mignonette on so many occasions this review is long overdue. Kpoene's style is not only timeless but unique and she has an amazing knack for knowing how to fit your perfect vision of your dream dress onto whatever body type you have. As an editorial, wedding, and fashion photographer I have had the opportunity to not only photograph her pieces on models for fashion spreads, but also see them on my real life brides, and for me, there is no better designer in the Chicago area period. Details and trim are always perfectly placed, and each dress has the feeling of an heirloom piece that was created just for that girl. If you're looking for a dream dress, a one of a kind piece, or someone who can make the best alterations possible for the dress you already have, you won't find anyone better.

Kpoene was one of my absolute favorite people to work with to make my wedding happen! I tried on over 100 dresses (not kidding) and didn’t find anything as beautiful, comfortable, and affordable as Kpoene’s original design! Kpoene is a dream to work with and is a wonderful person in general. The team at mignonette made my dress so incredibly comfortable and added in elements from my grandmothers old wedding gown to incorporate her memory into our ceremony. I’d recommend her again and again!
I honestly couldn't have been more lucky to stumble into Mignonette and meet Kpoene. I went there with about 6 months until my wedding day to try on dresses. I had been to just about every bridal shop in Chicago and could not find the right dress, mainly because I did not want a traditional bridal outfit which Kpoene could tell instantly after I tried on the first dress. She boldly asked why I was trying on dresses when clearly that wasn't my style. She agreed to make a custom top as I had my eye on a skirt from another bridal shop. The entire process was incredibly collaborative, through the fabric to design to the final touches. She clearly understood my vision and executed what was the bridal top of my dreams, in my favorite color black :) I would have never been able to achieve my bridal look without the hours of work and insane amount of love she put into designing and creating this top. THANK YOU Kpoene and the incredible team at Mignonette for working tirelessly to give me a fire bridal look!!! ♥
