I did not read the reviews as I am in the hosp. and using Uber Eats daily. I was rattled by the racial connotations and would have stopped our association .. I just thought food would be good.. I think it sucks to serve below quality food and then insult my intelligence. KARMA is a mother... They truly do give a spring roll instead of egg roll, the Rangoon and chicken wings taste like fried in old grease... pitiful.. they should close down.. My Black American money gave u the loan (hopefully it was a loan and NOT A GRANT).. PITIFUL!!!!

The entire restaurant hasn't been clean in 10 years or more .. they lady taking the order is super rude and the rise tasted like it was prepare since yesterday. I dont know how is that restaurant still open but I never ever go back again and never should you . Minus 10 stars.

I love their food. I am new to the area and had to find me a new Chinese restaurant to order from. I am kind of surprised by the reviews but then on the other hand I'm not. The food is really good. Some people just have it out to give bad reviews. Anyway today I ordered the chicken lo mein, sesame chicken which came with steamed rice or fried rice, I got steamed and an egg roll. The egg roll is a spring roll so I am disappointed by that. Besides that my food was piping hot and delicious. It was my first time trying their lo mein and I'm definitely going to order that again. Sesame chicken is about 8 or 9 big round fried pieces of all white meat chicken and is very good. I love Montrose Chinese and I hope that if you're reading my review you will try it too.

Decent food, 3+ years, not much of a "restaurant", rather a waiting area for takaway. Nevertheless, first choice when needing to pick up quick food after overtime.

They don’t know how to ready correctly what you order. Second time ordering from this place on Uber eats. Requested brown rice, they sent it wrongly twice! Don’t recommend this place at all.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Chicken was dry on the orange chicken, rice tasted like it was several weeks old! My Mongolian triple delight was the worst dish I have ever tasted. I assumed that the people working behind the scenes would have cooked up some authentic Chinese food! Very disappointed:(

When they say no frills, that's a great description. We had sweet and sour chicken (large portion, tasty), teriyaki chicken (lots of vegetables, tasty), cheese puffs (hot, fresh, tasty), and egg rolls (decent). The rice was good, the fried and white. This restaurant is great for a nice, quick, intimate meal. I'd recommend this restaurant for a small group of people, 4 or less, looking for a quick but tasty Chinese meal. Great value, inexpensive, and fast service.

We ordered on Door Dash and regretted it. All of our food tasted and smelled like dog food. Don’t know how else to explain it. We ended up throwing all of our food out...we couldn’t stomach it. Will not be ordering again, wish I had read reviews before spending all of that money.

This place is completely disgusting. The inside is dirty, tables are sticky. The bathroom is shared by both men and women and it shows. There is pee all over the floor. The employees are rude. I made the mistake of asking the man behind the counter if the egg rolls were spring rolls or were egg rolls. He was so sarcastic with me. The food was gross. This place needs to be shut down. Period.
