Lis Altos Office. I was a patient of one of the physicians who left, I got a letter that I was transferred to an other one within the foundation. Guess what when I needed one they told me I wasn't a patient anymore because I did not come to see the doctor enough! I only go when needed. You really wonder who is sick......

Just had a colonoscopy done at PAMF (El Camino/85). Facilities are nice. Two months prior to the procedure I had dropped off a complete copy of my medical history. The day of the procedure, I was wheeled into the OR and administered the narcotics. At the same time the doc asked me where I had my prior procedure done because he wasn't able to locate my journals! I was able to utter a name or two after which I passed out. I assume the procedure went OK based on the procedural pictures. Yet, I wonder... did the doctor locate the notes from my prior procedure??? Now two weeks later I'm hit with an over $8k charge for the procedure. The insurance company covers about half because this is considered a preventive procedure, and I'm charged with the rest. About half goes to PAMF and the other to the doctor. Prior to the procedure I called both PAMF and my insurance company, and was told there would be no out of pocket expenses! Two years ago I had shoulder surgery done at an independent clinic. Total cost was about $5k, which included the bill for general anesthesia. There's something wrong here. PAMF seems to be a place which looses records and is overcharging patients. I contacted PAMF and there's nothing they can do. I will now be looking to move to another facility for future procedures.

Our baby's pediatrician is here. Very quick service. We've never had to wait for more than 5 minutes.

If you have the luck of finding a good doctor in PAMF system, then you will give 4 or 5, but for a newbie like me, it has been awful. When my son had a flu, the doctor in Los Altos center diagnosed him with just a cold and made him suffer from 103 degrees of fever for three days. After the long fight with the fever, we went in again, they diagnosed him with pneumonia. Then a month later he had pain in his ear and in his lymph note and could not even drink or swallow. The doctor was about to send us away with the allergy care then changed her mind to get the blood work done to check for possible infection. Now, I am waiting at home out of work with a sick child who has only taken Tylenol to treat his fever of 102 according to the doctor's order waiting by the phone for them to confirm that he has the infection to get him out of his misery. It's almost lunchtime and my son won't be able to eat again because he is not getting the proper treatment from his doctor. I am actually going to start looking for a new doctor. I have gotten a far better medical care in the small town of Michigan than in this expensive modern part of Silicon Valley.

the coordinator is super super unresponsible. I setup an appointment on the call on Tuesday. And after that I didn't receive any notification. To the day which I setup the appointment, I call them what's going on. They said your appointment is cancelled. I said what?! They said oh we tried to reach you but your voice mall box not setup. And I highly doubt they only tried to call once. I said I left my wife phone as well, I left my email as well. You guys just called once and cancel it. If I didn't make this call. I'm gonna head all the way and get a I'm sorry. That's totally ridiculous, not to mention you have to take some time off to coordinate with your work. It sucks!

Doctor and medical assistants are very nice. But a receptionist is not friendly and even rude. I won't go with my kids again!!!

Now that our family had found good doctors here were very happy with it. Love that their electronic systems tie all our visits to various doctors together, so your primary care physician know what happens all the time. Their online email system is so helpful for busy families. It helps that our doctors have been responsive too. Thanks PAMF.

Takes forever to make an appointment. Attempted to make an appointment for a medical exam and after spending hours unsuccessfully trying to do it from phone call or online, I realized maybe trying other provider is better option.
