I was in severe pain from a wisdom tooth and I needed to have it out ASAP. Called around and Park Avenue Faces, New York got me in right away. The office was busy when I got there but they squeezed me into the schedule and I did not have to wait long. I met Dr. Cohen and staff and they put me at ease. I actually decided to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth out with sedation. Don't remember a thing! No pain afterwards. I was back to work the next day. Dr. Cohen is a great oral surgeon and I highly recommend him. Top notch oral surgery office.

I had my wisdom teeth out with Dr. Cohen this week and it was a very easy comfortable experience. His staff was absolutely wonderful - engaging and kind. Dr. Ruben was thorough and attentive. I never write these reviews but felt compelled to comment on just how impressed I was by his professionalism and sensitivity. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen (and his great staff).

When I went to Dr. Cohen it was a really great experience. The office is clean and beautiful and the girl at the front was very welcoming. I didn't have to wait very long and when I met Dr Cohen he was friendly. He seemed very knowledgeable and I knew my dentist has recommended a good oral surgeon. The procedure went well and my follow-ups were easy to schedule. I would definitely use him again.

Dr. Cohen is a very professional and kind doctor. I had my wisdom teeth extracted under local anesthetic and the procedure lasted for less than an hour and a half. I think that it was due, in part, to how clearly and adeptly he and his team explained everything to my mother and I. I was nervous, but I was ready and felt completely safe under his care. After the surgery, he called me at home and asked how I was doing. It was so refreshing to receive a follow-up call the same day. I'm so glad I went ahead and got this procedure with him. I definitely recommend him!

Dr. Cohen performed emergency surgery on my sister, after she spent an agonizing day at the ER. Turns out to have been her lucky day. Dr. Cohen is an incredibly competent and compassionate medical professional. He is straightforward yet very kind. His surgery was impeccable and he has continued to provide great care and guidance in terms of follow-up. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Plus, beautiful office and very nice staff. Highly recommend.

At least three factors make Dr. Cohen's Park Avenue Oral & Facial Surgery a practice I will enthusiastically recommend to my friends and family. First, the professionalism and pleasantness of the office staff. Second, Dr. Cohen's calm and confident demeanor coupled with his very clear explanations for his course of care. Third, and most importantly, an experience (wisdom tooth extraction) that came off without a hitch - from the administration of my anesthesia to my in-office and at-home recovery to my post-op visit - every single aspect was handled with the utmost care.

Dr. Cohen's office is spectacular. I went in for a consultation for wisdom teeth extraction and I was blown away by the beautiful facility. I felt as though I was in the lobby of a hotel and nothing like any dentist office I had been in before. The front desk girl was very friendly and got in touch with my insurance company on the spot. Dr. Cohen was nice and took a scan before informing me that my wisdom teeth needed to be taken out sooner than later. I was super nervous for the procedure but when the day finally came the assistant as well as Dr. Cohen were so friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Cohen even checked up on me a few days later to see how I was feeling. I highly recommend going to see Dr. Cohen!

I recently had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Cohen suggested I do it all in one shot. The surgery went fast and smooth. Dr. Cohen was extremely caring and attentive. I heard dry sockets were quite common with extractions and I'm happy to report I didn't have any! The girls who work in the practice with him are SO friendly and sweet, I felt comfortable calling the office with any questions or concerns. I'm certainly not the best patient so I reward them for putting up with me, they provided great service, and I highly recommend them!

My 19 year old son had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at Park Avenue Oral and Facial Surgery. Dr. Ruben Cohen and his staff are so pleasant, so kind, so caring. The office is elegant, immaculate, and incredibly comfortable. Dr Cohen was so attentive to my son's needs and was patient and kind in explaining the procedure to us before the surgery. Dr. Cohen has a very calm and professional demeanor , a very gentle bedside manner and excellent technical skills. My son experienced NO pain, and was not at all nervous regarding the procedure due to Dr. Cohen's confidence and calm demeanor. I would highly recommend him with utmost enthusiasm.

The office is beautiful and the receptionist was very nice. Dr. Cohen wasn't the nicest person. He seemed exhausted and over it. Charged me $200 for an x ray NY dental insurance covered fully. I was quoted $5,100 to remove all four 3rd row molars (wisdom teeth). I called several other Practices and they all stated that price was way too high. Though this office is literally right around the corner from my apt, I will never go back here again.
