My husband and I visited today for the first time. We were drawn in by a full restaurant on a Thursday afternoon, so we knew it had to be good. We were SO pleasantly surprised. The food was so delicious and exactly what we wanted to fill us up and leave us feeling great the rest of the day. I had the plantains, coconut rice, beans, and shrimp and it was perfectly balanced. I wish that there was a Pica Pica close to where I live, but now we know where we are eating whenever we are on Valencia! What a treat!

The empanadas and arepas are awesome, very tasty! I would add more typical Venezuelan flavor as Reina Pepiada or Llanera. The Cachapas are quite different, I didn’t like it at all. However is a good place to eat Venezuelan food. Recommend. In the picture: Arepas + tasty chupe!

I’m giving 1 star not because of the food but the price, extremely overpriced, paid for three one dollar value empanadas and one very small soup, $17, This is outrageous... and the most ridiculous thing, the square payment machine asking for tip... Food was okay, not the best not bad. But extremely pricey...

The food here is amazing. Arepas, ceviche, nachos, all perfect. Like, it's so good I'm not sure I'd pass a drug test after eating it. Talmbout dat sauce... Should be a Schedule I narcotic.

For any gluten free individual in your life - whether because they have an intolerance, allergy or just want to not have gluten, this is the place. Great arepas with different fillings and their nachos are amazing, not made with your traditional corn chips. Definitely worth a try. Not much seating but cozy.

I pass by this place all the time on my way to acupuncture. Since my appointment was later, I missed the usual crowds of fans of this place today (lucky me). I had the white corn arepa stuffed with pulled pork and slaw. It was truly amazing. I had a hard time deciding what to order, as they have so many options. The service was quick and efficient, and the quality of the food was amazing. If you want something different, try this place. You won't be disappointed.

It was really delicious! The people were nice. For whom don't like coriander it's probably the wrong place. 😜

Oh MY GOSH! I love this place! So yummy 😋. I hope I get a chance to eat here every time I visit San Francisco. I highly recommend this to anyone with Celiac Disease (like me). It's all gluten free. It's so great to be able to order and eat anything on the menu and it also happens to be amazing food!

This place is incredible. I have some pretty stringent dietary restrictions and it can be tough to find vegan and gluten free food that isn't some kind of Buddha bowl (although those are great... on occasion.) Pica Pica's vegan arepa really hit the spot. The cabbage slaw was delicious too. The place is clean and bright and has some lovely art. I was there last Friday and I'm taking my husband back this Saturday even though we live in Berkeley!

My top spot for delicious venezuelan food. Visited on a Wednesday I think. Nothing but great experiences here. The prices are fair for the quality of food.

Sorry, maybe I'm biased since I have a preference for Mexican food and this was my first time trying Venezuelan food. It may be better than 3 stars for what it is but I just wasn't a fan of the flavors. Tried the arepo trio with the three different chicken options. My favorite was the grilled chicken. The spicy was my least favorite. The corn is too heavy for me as I prefer thin corn tortillas.

Everything was so fresh, tasty and delicious. The garlic yucca fries were unbelievably good. Such a nice quick veggie packed meal! So lovely that they we’re able to accommodate vegetarians and gluten free folks too
