I started eating hot dogs at Pink's when they were only 25 cents. That was roughly in 1956. Even today at nearly $5 for a basic dog, no other hot dog anywhere tastes quite as good. And for Pete's sake, it's Pink's, the quintessential L.A. experience. (And don't forget to order a Dr. Brown's creme soda with whatever you order!)

The bacon fries with ranch is one of the best things I have ever eaten. The variety of dogs and sausages is crazy and it will take forever to try it all. Started with just a chili cheese and it was great. I bet the burgers are fantastic and I think that's where I'll go next time. Not only is it a landmark, the food is great too.

Had the Brando, LA street, and Fries. I kept having mixed feelings of this is great with this is all very dry and the chili tastes like the cement that holds bricks together. If you ask me the star chili is WAY over hyped. The dogs have a nice snap but there is always this dry bun heavy feeling to their food. Service is awesome, waited 40 minutes or so but it is amazing how they listen to your order and just magically make it happen. Worth an hour wait? Maybe...

Very iconic spot and some really good hot dogs too. The service is great and totally inexpensive as well. Only thing, the lines could be super long.

Amazing chili dogs! Typically a 45 minute wait but well worth it. Portions are large for the price and service is excellent

Wowza! When I first stepped into the shop, I felt like a foodie hipster. The many bar stools give an urban and edgy vibe. This is a casual dining spot that's perfect for a date night or a small group hangout.

Only cons to this place is because it's so popular lines can very from reasonable to around the block depending on events and time. I will also say from personal experience the hot dogs and chili are their best options. Their burgers are good because of the chili and not the burger itself. It's not a burger place so it's to be expected. Now if you're going here for hot dogs you're in for an incredible treat. All their hot dog options are delicious although my personal favorite has the be a classic, The Chili Cheese dog. Their dog + amazing chili blend so well together then top it off with some mild cheddar cheese and you're in for a really good time. I tend to eat 2 sometimes 3 whenever we go here and sometimes even order the chili cheese fries which just work to deliver more of that delicious chili and cheese to you. For those with picky eaters, their chili is free of any visible vegetables and if there are you cannot taste them either. The ambience of eating their is very simple homey. Its simple patio chairs and umbrella tables outside with very simple clean tables and chairs.

If you like (messy, dripping, use a fork) hot dogs, this is the place to eat. The menu is quite diverse for all things hot dog. Expect to wait. We stood in line for about 45 minutes and it wasn't really peak hours. The place is a Hollywood landmark. Its iconic and that's the big draw. Lots of signed photos of celebrities and some memorabilia. Overall, the price was good. It was tough deciding which dog to destroy and well... the food was okay.
