Professional and friendly staff great service mind and helpful.
Treated like a woman abuser from the get go. This place is full of woman chauvinists & man haters! Despite the womans request, evry male partnr is excluded from the experience & treated as if he is abusively domineering & the woman is treated like a helpless weak submissive. This place seperates heterosexual couples & treats u like an unhealthy relationship when they dont want to leave the company of thr most trusted friend to the clutches of inconsiderate prejudice self righteous fascists!!!
The staff here are professional, friendly, prompt, and they provide great service. It's such a nice atmosphere too. This is what health care should be.
CON: Because the place is so small, the check-in windows is close to everyone waiting and whatever you say, if you don't say it really low, people will hear.
I go to this health center for a few years now and usually my experience is pretty great, the stuff is very friendly and professional. But the last few times was a nightmare. I scheduled an appointment for vaccination, took time off work, waited in line for 30 minutes, ended up without vaccine because they were out of it! Fine, together with a doctor we rescheduled my appointment for next week, and she said that she already called and ordered the shots. I took time off work next week, came back to the health center and guess what? yes, they are telling me they are out of this vaccine, they have to order it and reschedule my appointment.
I don’t understand why PP has only 3 stars... yes you have to wait (a lot), and no the waiting rooms aren’t awesome.... but it’s Planned Parenthood! You want exemplary service with leather couches? Go to a doctor in Pac Heights. I’ve been going here for years throughout varying income levels and PP has always been my best option when it comes to Women’s service.
Great place to get prevention vaccines or injections plus suggestions. Got a urine test done they have wipes for you. Great atmosphere
So I came to this clinic to receive STD/HIV testing and pregnancy testing to confirm my at home pregnancy test and the first two visits went very well, everyone was very nice and friendly. But today, was not so great. One of the assistants named Lindsey asked me if I was taking birth control. I told her no because of negative side effects I experienced from taking/using birth control and started listing off the side effects I had experienced. When I mentioned that I got yeast infections from taking it she tried to dismiss it as a side effect because "birth control doesnt cause yeast infections, that is due to separate matters." even though i had never had a yeast infection before taking birth control and got a yeast infection faithfully every month that I did take birth control along with other issues and the moment I stopped taking birth control my yeast infections stopped and I haven't had one since I stopped using birth control. It is completely rude to try to dismiss someone like that, and if you aren't there to listen to your patients, maybe you should find a different line of work that isn't involved in the medical field. Every body is different, every experience is different. Don't tell me my experience isnt real.
Super easy to get an appointment. Great, warm and welcoming staff, both in reception and in exam room.
