The roco sub was perfect. I've had many "Italian subs", but none were the basic root of Italian like this place. They even sell pastas, peppers, and other Italian cooking items separately... Two thumbs up in my book!

Thr first time I visited Rocco's, I had the porchetta "American style" with the melted provolone but they said I could customise to my liking. On my next visit, I had the porchetta served Italian style, with just the pork (no cheese) on their home-made bread. Made me nostalgic. They also have a small selection of Italian candies and chocolates. This place is worth a visit and is ranked in the top 10 best sandwhich places in L.A.

I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. Bring your hunger - portions are large. They have so many reviews for a reason.

Food is delicious! They were out of pastrami, and one of the soups, so we changed our order. Then they were out of rolls. Ended up with a great Rueben on rye and an Italian sub. Best potato salad and coleslaw ever! They are very, very slow. It took about 30 minutes to get our sandwiches. There were only two other people in the restaurant, but he was training a new guy. Worth the trip, just call in the order!

Old world Italian. Great food and ambiance. The family owned shop with great traditional eats will take you back to Italy even if it’s just for a few minutes. Take a break from the hustle and bustle you will be swept away.
