This review concerns the psychiatric hospital. An 11 year old I am very close to was admitted acutely. I was a medical professional for 33 years, now retired for 2. Very familiar with HIPA regulations. Not with psych minors though. Spoke with the privacy team at Children's. No restrictions on contacting a provider to supply him with written documents. Requested provider to send me an e-mail address or text me. Never received a phone call back or a message. I snail mailed info to him. 3 weeks later still NO return phone call or message. VERY, VERY unprofessional and possibly unethical.Very disappointed.

Always pleasant. Love the playroom for other children to play in when one is being seen. Just wish it was open through the lunch hour as my Grandsons appointment goes through that time and corraling two active children for that hour is a challe6in the hall. Love the fish tanks.

This place is amazing. I hope you never find yourself here but if you do, know that you will be taken care of by some of the best in the country.

My son was diagnosed with Leukemia back in June 2016. I wouldn't trust anywhere else besides Seattle Children's to care for my son. The nurses, doctors, and entire staff have been amazing and so caring. All surgeries, hospital stays, ER visits have been exceptional. Everytime we come in for a visit everyone treats us like family. My rating for them is beyond five stars.

We have been going here for both our kids needs. They have always been excellent and great at explaining any issues going on. We have had the doctors willing to even go to court with us when trying to get permission for a surgery one of them needed and the bio parents didn't want him to have it.

The care is ok....that is, when you can actually get ahold of someone. I have to work with the Endocrinlogy dept due to my daughters condition, and getting ahold of someone is a part time job. There has to be a better system in place seriously, come on.

We've been going to seattle children for years. I love it. The care they take and the team of leaders have always put our children first and their needs.

We’ve been here several times with our children. Our oldest daughter had an appendectomy here. Also, our youngest daughter was here for sixteen days after birth due to complications. The doctors and staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are always clean and well kept. They have a pool and playground for families. I don’t love being here, but I love the way it’s run.

Children's Hospital is the best! Everyone from valet to registration to the nurses and doctors are the best, kindest and most helpful people you will ever know. My son ALWAYS has the best care! They are totally geared for kids! Love 😍 them!

Recently went to the surgery department for my daughter. 100% the worst experience of our lives. If possible go to the Bellevue Branch!! The surgery nurses are cold & could care less about you and your child's care. We waited for 30 minutes to be discharged, never was asked how we are doing, never offered food or drink ( keep in mind my daughter had to fast.for surgery) the nurses wanted us out if their as fast as possible.

I rarely write reviews, but I had too. Seriously this place is the best, I’ve been to every emergency room & ive never felt so comfortable in a scary place. The check in to nurses to doctors are absolutely wonderful and they all deserve 5 stars. I don’t care if I have to drive all the way to Seattle if you want people that actually care about you & your little one I would come here.
