Shwe Mandalay is a family-owned and operated business and is currently the only Burmese restaurant in West Michigan. It had its soft opening on August 21, 2018. The grand opening, complete with a ribbon cutting, was October 9th, 2018.

So very good...if you like Thai and Indian food, this fusion of the two will tickle your fancy...all the rich curries and spices, delicious. My wife and I have eaten here four times now and never been disappointed. The service is top notch and friendly . Can't recommend it enough. And try coconut dessert...amazing.
Great food, very Friendly staff, and a very clean Place to eat! We visit often even tho they are 30 minutes away. We love taking their bubble tea for our ride back home.
My organization selected Shwe Mandalay to cater a recent community event, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Working with Jennifer and Amanda was wonderful! They had great communication every step of the way, and the food was AMAZING. I highly recommend Shwe Mandalay for local catering.

My party had the Nwe Noodle and the lamb curry. Both were delicious. The nwe noodle especially had unique flavors fun to eat. The service was friendly and helpful. We will return!

A somewhat new addition to the Battle Creek food scene. Clean well light and nicely decorated. Food is well prepared fresh with a pleasant presentation. Portions are good, it may be a bit pricey but overall worth it for the taste. A definite must visit when in the mood for exotic flavors.

Food was good. They really know their clientele and how to allow them spice options. The menu was simple and plainly written. It wasn't confusing at all, I really enjoyed that. We were seated quickly and food took a moment to come out but not too long. The decor was nice, not over done. Music could be turned a tiny bit down if it was busier but it was nice at the time. Over all a fantastic meal, we will return.
