The move was much less stressful than I had anticipated. Packing and unpacking went smoothly and the fellows in charge, Scott in Pittsburgh and John Rom in Scottsdale had everything under control . The fellas they were in charge of were very personable and worked diligently the entire time. I 'm only about half unpacked but so far, I have not found anything broken.
Fabulous folks! Our move was easy up until we waited five hours for our lender to release our money. The kindness & calm expressed by Stevens staff & our driver was beyond helpful as our belongings sat in their truck. When my husband moves down this summer, Stevens will do his move. I am grateful. Thank you!
The actual movers here are good at their jobs for the most part, but the management leaves a bit to be desired. They have a somewhat difficult reputation for dealing with their customers' claims. If something does get accidentally damaged, they aren't usually keen on paying for the damage.
If you are planning a move, Stevens Van Lines is the company to choose. They helped us in our move from Michigan to Wisconsin, from a four bedroom home to a two bedroom apartment, with ease and skill. From the first estimate until the last box was off the truck they were friendly, professional, and skilled. We couldn’t be happier with their service.
As a widower and single, I knew this move would be very different from all of the other moves I’ve experienced over the years as a family of 5. But working with the Stevens professionals made me feel very much like I wasn’t doing all of this alone! Having someone to guide me through the process and conscientious movers who were careful and took pride in their work made my experience much less scary and more of a positive transition to this next chapter in my life.
The Stevens Van Lines company was outstanding on our last move. The movers were extra careful to wrap all of our possessions and valuables and our things arrived safely and unbroken. We would recommend them and would very likely use them again. Great experience from start to finish.
Stevens door-to-door experience was the easiest part of our move from Florida to Georgia. Both the origination and destination crew, led by Bill, were professional, efficient and friendly. They were all introduced to us before any of the work started and we felt like each one cared that our furniture and boxes made it safely to the destination. Would highly recommend this company and crew to family and friends.
Stevens did an outstanding job! The Team worked hard packing 15,000 lbs of household items, loading, unloading and placing boxes where they were needed in new property. Absolutely ZERO items were damaged. Amazing Team and great job. Highest recommendation coming from a 30-year USAF veteran with over a dozen moves.
The driver and moving team were all very friendly and cheerful - and worked hard! They were thorough and careful with my household goods. Everything arrived at my new location in great condition (in MT in the middle of winter!). I was impressed that the driver called me directly before pick up and delivery so that I had plenty of notice about when to expect them. Highly recommend this company!
