I just had a foodgasm! I went there to celebrate a friend's birthday two days ago. I ordered the seafood nachos. I tasted the calamari and the lamb chop with mashed potatoes. The seasoning was on point. The chocolate cake we had was great. I will return to eat there again. The reservation was for 10 people and the service was great.
The brunch at Sweet Auburn is great. I know that every place that offers brunch usually has shrimp and grits on the menu, but the shrimp and grits at Sweet Auburn is probably better than all of those places you've tried. Give it a try. You wont be disappointed. The service is good. Bottomless mimosas are available. Music is playing. Pretty nice spot.

The experience was great.Amy ..one if the managers was very accommodating and served us in spite of them being closed to new patrons in prep for dinner..This place has some of the best service that zi ha e never experienced. The food and drinks are top notch! The attention to detail is even better.
The salad was a great size and filling! And the gumbo was delicious. I think the seafood nachos should have more sautéed peppers and onions but other than that we enjoyed it. It was a cute spot with lots of historic photos!
I have a lot of friends who have had a great experience here and love this place so I knew I had to give it a try. They had a live band and the ambiance was great. We looked at the menu and prepared to order. Every single item that we wanted to order they didn’t have. Either they ran out of it or no longer sold it. I’m not talking about one or two things I’m talking about over 10 things on the menu. The bang bang shrimp that we got as an appetizer was good. Our experience was very disappointing as I had high expectations of this place from reviews of others.
My family called with a request for a reservation of 18ppl celebrating our out of town guests and a 44yr wedding anniversary. Initially they explained their policy to sign a contract agreement because of the size of the party but long story short they waived that and the fee. We had such a great time. Every one was pleased with their meal and our service was wonderful. I feel horrible that I don't know her name but she was patient, down to earth and thoughtful. Thanks Sweet Auburn for making this time memorable!!
Delicious food and great service. This was our second time visiting and we definitely enjoyed the food. It's such a cute restaurant, would really recommend it as a date night restaurant. The gumbo was delicious and so was the seafood nachos. No complaints at all!

We celebrated a friend's birthday there last night. All of the food we had was delicious! Between those who were there, we ordered crab cakes, gumbo, calamari, mussels, the red snapper and the burger. Not one thing disappointed. Lee was our mixologist. We put his skills to the test and he delivered! James (partner/manager) was very engaging and full of personality. The icing on the cake was the live band. They were awesome! I'll definitely go back and highly recommend you try them.
