The Kebab Factory
- 414 Washington St. Somerville, MA 02143 USA
Company Description
Way back in the 14th century, the Moghuls invaded Hindukush, "the land of milk, honey and other rich treasures". In return, they left behind a trail of destruction, and well, the kebab. The open fire was too unpredictable, so the even, dry heat of the tandoor took its place.

Biryani was definitely not worth the price ($17). It was tasteless

I had visited this place a week ago for lunch buffet. The ambience is nice and calm. They have decent amount of varieties in their buffet and tastes good. PS: If you are looking for authentic Indian taste, this is not the place you would want to go. The food is generally made bland for larger audience and hence you won't like most of the curries if you like spicy food. Also, their customer service has degraded since new management took over. They don't care how you felt about the food and service.

Overall this place is one of the better Indian restaurants in Cambridge or Somerville. The only one we have found we like better is Guru the Caterer, but this place is better if you want nice ambiance and good food. The staff is also very nice. We love the Hyderabadi baingan ka salan! Do not order the Lahsuni gobi as it’s half oil and not good. The shrimp curry is however delightful.

Good food but very slow service so only go when you have free time

Ordered through seamless, after an hour I called to confirm pickup and they cancelled on the spot because they were too busy, never called to cancel order, never prepared food. Unreliable and delinquent.

One of our favorite places to go. Variety is small but quality is good and reliable. Fresh bread basket for each table. Several veg and non-veg options.

Great food, wonderful service in a cute quaint environment. Definitely worth your next visit. Be sure to try the papadum.

Great Indian food. My go to is chicken saag...is always great here. We are repeat customers over now a decade. Discovered it after not getting a table at a place across the street w an attitude problem. People at Kebab welcoming. Cozy space.
