One of my favorite places in the whole wide world! Great selection of fabrics, notions, and quilting books. Reasonable prices and a very helpful staff. Very nice gift shop as well. TOCS also offers a nice variety of quilting classes which are held in their annex building next door.
Always a wonderful experience to enter the store with warm greetings from every employee. Outside windows are beautifully displayed and inside is full of interesting finds.

Love this place. Great gifts and beautiful fabric. You can buy already made quilts or buf fabric and make your own. The best selection of patterns I've seen anywhere.

We bought a beautiful, reasonably-priced, handmade quilt, a beautiful, handmade sock monkey, a couple of cookbooks, two jars of local jams, a bar of handmade soap, a bunch of candy (some of which were brands we hadn't seen since childhood), and more. We found ourselves drawn by the quality and variety of goods, and pretty much had to force ourselves to leave! If you're a quilter, this is a must- visit for you.
I took a class here and it was a pleasure. They have great spaces for classes. My classmates said they enjoyed all the classes they have attended here. The employees were also very helpful when I called before my visit, from out of town, and asked for local lodging recommendations. They offer many types of classes: quilting, hand embroidery, and the like. They have an excellent fabric selection, besides books on sewing and various sewing-related handcrafts. They also carry an assortment of kitchen gadgets (in the adjacent space). I can honestly say I wish I lived closer to a fabric and quilting store like this.
What a lovely store! Inside are a mix of handmade items, keepsakes, kitchen gadgets, artisan pieces, homemade preserves, and a quilt store. The fabric is arranged by color like a rainbow making it easy to shop or search for matching yardage in just the right color. There are some interesting quilt magazines/journals that I hadn't seen before. Just go and have fun! More than ample parking in the back.
I absolutely LOVE this store!!! The staff is so helpful and friendly. The store is full of so many awesome gifts, ideas, kits, fabric, quilts, etc. They offer classes that are so good!! It's hard to find sewing classes anymore. The Old Country Store offers many classes for beginners and advanced! This store is my new love!!! I will be spending a lot of time there!!
