We invite parents to accompany their children during visits to our office. Along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, we recommend that your child visit the dentist within 6 months from the eruption of their first tooth or when your child turns 12 months of age, whichever occurs first. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry also recommends that your child see the dentist every 6 months for a dental exam, cleaning, and x-rays to maintain good oral health. Preventive oral care is the key to a healthy smile.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schwarz's for years. The entire office is professional and efficient. Ashley, my dental hygienist does a thorough job cleaning and keeps me comfortable. Dr. Schwarz has successfully completed difficult dental repairs on me with perfect results. I trust the office completely to take care of my needs and not push anything unnecessary.
This office and staff are great! Very friendly. No up-charging or trying to sell you something you don't need. They treat you like family. Definitely recommend The Magnificent Smile.

The Magnificent Smile is Magnificent! I have been a patient for over 10 years. I have had a number of emergencies with various tooth issues and Jamie has made sure I am seen the same day. I trust Dr. Ingrid Schwarz so much that our entire family sees her. I have sensitive teeth and Ashley is amazing she is my favorite hygienist. On time and so convenient.
I have been a patient at this office for years. The entire staff is professional and caring. They do an outstanding job of being on time which is appreciated so I can fit an appointment in during my work day. They were great to accommodate me when I had an emergency. You can completely trust everyone at this office - they will not try to perform work you don't need or sell you anything. Finally - if you are afraid of the dentist office like I am - you will feel right at home here. I might even go as far as saying you will enjoy your visit - they know how to help you feel comfortable.
I admit to being prejudice - since I have been going to this practice for many, many years. The team is extremely competent - a big shout out to JoAnn Butters, my dental tech, for her gentle touch. Dr. Frericks is a fabulous dentist and I never feel anxious if work has to be performed. The office staff is experienced and helpful and Jamie is always willing to help accommodate appointment changes. The Magnificent Smile is simply the best dental practice ever!!
I've been going to The Magnificent Smile for many years and even though I live in the far north suburbs, I would never go anywhere else. Dr. Frericks, my dentist, and Karyn Tanis, my dental hygienist, are so good and caring. The best!
There are good dentists and then there are people who were born to do this. I never considered that dentistry can be an art form until I was treated by Dr. Irina Ganzman at The Magnificent Smile. Dr. Ganzman was friendly, courteous, polite and so easy to talk to. That was only the beginning. I came in for a routine exam and cleaning. After x rays, it turned out that I had a broken tooth. It had been filled many times in the past but the filling kept falling out and the tooth breaking more each time. I was at risk of losing it entirely, or at least that is what I was told by my previous dentist. Dr. Ganzman told me that she can most definitely save this tooth. I was skeptical but all my doubts disappeared as soon as she began working. She is the most skilled dentist I have even encountered. She moved and worked with such grace and ease that I barely knew anything had even been done when she announced that she was finished. Normally, after getting a filling, it takes a little while to get used to the feeling in your mouth. Not this time. My bite felt as natural as ever and when I ran my tongue over the tooth that had just been fixed, it felt smooth and perfect and there was zero pain! I told her that I wish my kids' dentist was this gentle and good and that is when I found out that Dr. Ganzman treats children as well. I scheduled appointments for my kids right away. My 2 yr old has not been an easy patient and has been very reluctant to see the dentist. Our last appointment with his old dentist did not go well. My son cried and refused to open his mouth. As soon as he met Dr. Ganzman, I could see that he felt completely at ease. He ran into the exam room and climbed into the chair by himself and just opened his mouth. I couldn't believe it. Well, Dr. Ganzman did not let him down. He did everything she asked of him and I could tell he was really enjoying this experience. He was so proud of himself! What a difference a skilled dentist who is able to build a good rapport right away can make for a child! Now I know that going to the dentist can be a positive experience each time. Needless to say, we have our family dentist for life. I will never take my family anywhere else. If you have been searching for a great dentist, your search is over. There is no one more skilled, more likable and better at what she does than Dr. Irina Ganzman at The Magnificent Smile. Go and see for yourself!
I have been going to this dental group for more than 15 years. They are amazingly thoughtful and accommodating and provide awesome treatment.
Cannot praise this place enough, Karen is the best hygienist ever! Dr. Ganzman is professional, friendly and one of the best dentists I have ever had. Thanks for the entire staff for doing such a great job!
