Built in 1906 as a private residence, The Wimbish House is one of the few remaining homes along what was once known as Atlanta’s fashionable “Mansion Row.” Today, this lovely Victorian-era home nestles proudly among Midtown’s dramatic corporate skyscrapers, stylish hotels and trendy restaurants, and celebrated cultural arts venues.

The Wimbish House is a beautiful event space. The venue is the epitome of elegance The foyer has beautiful hardwood floors, a gorgeous chandelier, and a stunning spiral staircase. The piano room and waiting room are equally beautiful. The large event space is all hardwood flooring as well with tremendous detail sconces and window panes. The acoustics are perfect for formal ceremonies and parties alike. There are bridal dressing rooms available upstairs and a full industrial-style kitchen in the basement, which is perfect for catered events. The Wimbish House staff are incredibly easy to work with and very responsive. There are two drawbacks associated with utilizing this space. First, there is very little parking available (appx 3 spaces), which are designed for brief periods of loading and unloading. However, you have the option of purchasing parking packages with Colony Square for about $5 per car. Second, the main ballroom shares a wall with Opera nightclub. Although that has not posed an issue for any of the events that I have attended at the Wimbish House, there is always the possibility that Opera may be having an event and there may be some noise interference. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this space.
Absolutely beautiful event venue! Unique architecture, perfect location in midtown, filled with history and southern charm.

A unique destination for an event. Essentially a mansion with a ballroom. The rooms are unique and the flow through the house is comfortable.

One of the MOST beautiful places ever! We felt so welcomed and comfortable here. Came for the Orchestra Noir, Opera and Opulence performance. Left more in love and with smiles on our faces! Thank you for an elegant Valentine's Day 2018!
