Our story begins with Brian Nguyen. In 2017, Brian’s world travels brought him to Toronto, Canada. There, tucking into his first Poutine, Brian was ignited by this dish that warmed the heart, comforted the soul and tickled the fancy.

Wonderful food. Who could pass up crispy fries and gravy? Really good deviled eggs!
This place seems hit or miss. First time we came in, we were blown away by the menu’s wide yet accessible variety, the drink selection, and the inviting nature of the staff as well as the space. The food was remarkably delicious that visit, too. Went back today and ordered the same dish. To my surprise, there was a drastic drop in quality. To be specific, had the Uncle Phil the first time and the fries were obviously fresh, there were plentiful curds and bountiful beef. This time, the fries tasted just short of stale and both the curds and beef were severely lacking. Finished it all and didn’t bother mentioning in person because I was hungry and had a busy day ahead; but, if I had more free time, it would’ve been worth asking for a remake.
FOOD TRUCK REVIEW: A place I was at confirmed that Tubs Poutine would be there at 3pm but upon arrival at 4 they were running late and would be there at 5. I called the business and asked when the food truck would arrive at my location to be told that they would now arrive at 6. My significant other and I were very hungry but we decided to wait. It is 6:30 now and no sign of their truck. It’s unfortunate as we were excited to try their food. I WOULD NOT COUNT ON HAVING A FOOD OPTION AT ANY PLACE THEIR FOOD TRUCKS ARE SCHEDULED. UPDATE: Left at 7 still no food truck. We personally called and confirmed the 6 o’clock time with them but Tubs Poutine did not address this in their response. Clearly a poorly run business. Sad.
Had poutine here for the 3rd time in the past 2 weeks and I think I’m officially addicted. As the other review say, the food is amazing and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Bathrooms are also amazingly clean.
My husband and I were looking for something new to try. We found this hidden jewel. The food and service was spectacular and we will be back...I highly recommend The Bib meat falling off the bone

Excellent food and excellent service! Ollie (sp?) was working alone and got everything out quickly even when several people showed up at once! And man it is tasty. Really surprised by the quality of everything.
Loved loved loved it. If you love fries or comfort food this is your kind of place. Tons of variety and the three poutines we had were all delicious. Fast service too
Really good food at this hidden gem. Fries were crispy and the perfect base for the gravy and cheese curds. Second time I’ve had poutine and this was way better. Will definitely be back at lease once a week for lunch.
This place is horrible! Reviews cant be real and I want to make a prediction: This places will be out of bustiness soon!!!! Poutine did not have gravy!! Tasted old! Old fries! Old meat! Still feeling disgusted! One of the worst foods in Houston. Nobody was there and I was fooled by reviews.....
first time here and I like it. great service, reasonable prices and the food is tasty. they have two size and we ordered the regular size but it was so big!! they have a lot of drinks and specials for happy hour, Mon-Fri 5pm-6pm. they take a little bit to make the food but it worth the wait. definitely come back again
