We attended once 7 years ago and have been members since. VVCC is focused on what's important - reaching out to those in the community and loving them. Bible and Christ centered, truly worthwhile for non-Chtistians and long time Christians alike. All are welcome.
I got baptized and saved here almost 8 years ago with my dad. Sadly, a money grieving pastor Kaleb took over. Hopefully, and God willing, he's gone. It was a great Church otherwise with great Youth!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. My connection with God and Jesus has never been stronger and their pastors are the very very best. Please check it out!
Visited Valley View today. The staff and church has to be the friendliest I've encountered in Dallas. The worship was good but there was a spirit of apathy in the house. No one clapped or lifted hands while worship was going on. It was like everyone were deaf mutes. I've never experienced worship this way. After the band would finish a song, it was quite as a mouse. If the spirit of God would visit Valley View, it would be the best church this side of Heaven.
My church home is friendly outgoing involved in the community one visit is all it takes
One of the most welcoming churches I have ever been a part of with endless opportunities to get plugged into both the church and the community. So blessed to have been a part of this!
I'm new to the area and have been looking for a new church. I found Valley View and liked what I was reading on their website. I was all ready to try it out until I saw on their homepage a short video clip that was played during a church service of a guy running in a speedo. I'm not in a place to judge, but I don't think that is a proper thing to be showing/condoning to your congregation, or representing online.
We are responsible for the example we portray to others. Crudeness shouldn't be acceptable, even in a funny scenario. We wouldn't do it if Jesus was in the room, we shouldn't in front of others.
We relocated from Ohio to Dallas in 2011 without knowing anyone in the area. We visited several churches in the DFW area while we were trying to find a place to live. Out of all the churches we visited, we found Valley View to be very friendly and very closely aligned to the faith principles we value and cherish. We have found it very easy to get plugged into serving in the church and absolutely have grown to love the people. Valley View is family to us now. One of my favorite things about Valley View is the diversity in age and ethnicities. It is truly a multi cultural and multi generation church who love God and loves to serve it community.
Valley View is a great church that invests into the community each and every day. If you are looking for a Bible based church that loves people well, this is your place!
I first attended Valley View in early 2013. I'd just moved to TX and was looking for a church that was focused on biblical teaching, that also offered opportunities to serve in the community.
5 years later, I am happy to still call Valley View home! My faith and biblical knowledge has grown immensely in the time I have been a member of Valley View, and I attribute that to good teaching and genuine passion from the leadership there.
If you're looking for a friendly, welcoming church and the potential to create lasting relationships in a loving community of people, come to a service on Sunday! There are also plenty of outreach opportunities and family-friendly events to take part in.
