East Village staple! Especially great for Matzo Ball Soup, Potato Pancakes and Pirogies. Can't go wrong here any time of day.

Had the #8 breakfast special, it was great. Very filling and well priced. The atmosphere there is relaxed, definitely will come back.

Food was great. Came here to invite my parents to some authentic Ukrainian food. Unfortunately no one here speaks Ukrainian/Russian and the menus are all in english so it was quite a hassle to find them their favorite dishes. In the end it was not 100% authentic but definitely enjoyable! Price is too high. The Ukrainian Cuisine has no ingredients that justify that

Best East European food i taste here. The food is very tasty here with reasonable price. The staff is very knowledge with the dishes that they offered. The attitude and order delivery of the staff is very awesome here.

I love this spot, an absolute East Village staple. I frequent this place often because the food always hits the spot no matter what time of day. I typically go with the borscht or matzo ball soup to start and the traditional meat platter (picture attached). I recommend this order for first timers because it hits on all of the Ukrainian specialties.

Elegant and quiet. We had a wonderful meal at Royal. A good glass of wine pair perfectly with our tender and flavorful steak, service was great We will definitely go back. A very pleasant evening .

This place has great Ukrainian food including excellent perogies. Nice decor, but mostly it's about the food. We've gone before but this time I had to write a review cause it really is special. I was pleased to find they have excellent vegetarian options and was able to eat there after a late flight from the west coast cause it is 24 hours too. Good service, even some fun dessert options, a New York favorite of this sometimes visitor.
