Dr. Widner is a world-class oral surgeon, and would recommend without reservation especially for dental implant surgery. I met Dr Widner during a follow up visit with my dad who had implants a week earlier. My dad had an issue after his procedure. I was impressed by Dr Widner's expertise, kindness, and availability to remedy the situation promptly . His office and staff are lovely too. Thanks for taking great care of my Dad!

All around excellent experience for all four wisdom teeth extraction. 3 easy appointments, all within a month. First appointment for x-rays & insurance quote. Second appointment for the operation. Third for the operation follow up. Front desk staff was great. All assistants were great. Dr Widner was great. Minimal to no pain. Fast healing. Highly recommend this office. They really know what they're doing. Thanks again to everyone there!

In August 2017, a dentist in Houston, performed wisdom teeth surgery on me which lead to many complications (TMJ disc location being one). I could not open my jaw past 17mm. I started to feel panicked and hopeless. In October 2017, I was new to Austin and researched to find an oral surgeon to help with my situation. I'm so thankful Dr. Widner was the one I chose to book my first appointment with because he has does so much for me since then! He preformed an athrocentesis and jaw manipulation followed by a referral for physical therapy to stretch my jaw. With all of that, I can now consistently open my jaw much much wider (40+mm). He was knowledgable, to the point, and understanding. He even called me the night my athrocentesis was done to follow-up and make sure I was doing okay after the procedure. (That was on a Friday night!). Not to mention, his staff is great!! All so sweet and welcoming. With all of this said, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Widner!

Just yesterday I had all four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Widner, and I feel surprisingly great the day after! On top of that, everyone in the office is friendly and knowledgeable, and made the process super easy and bearable. If I any more wisdom teeth to take out I'd definitely be going back here!

Today, i had oral surgery by another doc in Memphis since it was less expensive and there was family to go with me. I had used Doc Weidner a few years ago and I can tell you that the compassion, atmosphere and service of the doctor didn’t hold a candle to Doc Weidner. If I need help again, Weidner it is! He had been given me his cell info for issues. I cannot reach this DR here and their office phone lines closed early today. They didn’t tell me to not eat or drink 6 hours prior and gave me a little sheet when I left but it didn’t mention a thing about rinsing your mouth. It’s full of blood and I cannot reach them. The emergency pager through the office isn’t working either. Missing the care and attention of Doc W and his staff!

Dr. Widner was fantastic! I highly recommend him. I went in for 3 impacted wisdom teeth and it could not have been easier. Pre-op he explained the procedure and went through the x-rays with me, showing me my impacted teeth and nerves. He gave me reassurance, calmed my fears about the procedure, was personable, and fully answered any questions I had. I ended up getting an IV, which I didn't even feel. Woke up later and the surgery was already done. First day was really easy, stayed iced up, took medicine according to his instructions and just relaxed. I had very minimal swelling and some soreness the next couple days. Overall was much easier and less painful than I imagined. Just had my one week post-op checkup and everything is healing well. The nurses and administrative staff were also really wonderful both before and after the surgery. They called to check in on me and made sure any questions I had were answered. Setting up appointments was not only easy but quick as well. I could not be happier to have found Dr. Widner's practice. Thank you!

Dr. Alford is an excellent doctor and helped me through the pain and aguish of an unexpected implant . And both of my daughters had their wisdom teeth extracted this summer - Dr. Alford and ALL of his staff were extremely kind, knowledgeable, professional and communicative. I could not recommend more highly!
