Located in the heart of Downtown Cleveland at Playhouse Square, Zaytoon is an urban eatery offering authentic, Lebanese cuisine for breakfast and lunch. Zaytoon means “olive” in Lebanese. At Zaytoon, everything is made with the freshest ingredients.

Super small space. Very nice interior. Ate vegetarian only and would definitely recommend it. The people are out-of-their-way nice and friendly. Ate here before theatre and left fully satisfied, on time, and even was given free dessert... just because... no reason! I can't wait to eat here again. (They were sold out of fallafel when I was there but they recommended great things in place that I was more than happy with.)
Had their falafel sandwich. It was really good. And their fries too.

Delicious!!! Ordered a variety of things for a group and shared, and everything was good. Super friendly staff, and whole aura of the place felt homey. I have had Baklava from multiple places, and even experimented with some home baking...But this was the best I've ever had and left me wanting for more! All in all the best praise they could get was when my 6 year old sister stated: " This is the best!!"
Working in Playhouse Square, Zaytoon is my favorite lunch spot. Quick and friendly service, wonderful food, and great prices. Highly recommend the Shish Tawook Pita!
Staff was all extremely pleasant. Food was great and reasonably priced. Will eat here again many more times.
O...M...G...as someone who grew up on Lebanese food, I am picky about middle eastern restaurants. This place blew it out of the park!!! Everything here was super tasty and the staff was friendly. If I lived in Cleveland this would be my lunch spot.
I grew up eating this kind of food. The extremely friendly staff and amazing food made it feel like I was in an aunt's kitchen. I highly recommend!!
Nice find. Small modern cafe. Very clean and many great affordable options. Veggie friendly. Had the egg cheese pita sandwich for breakfast. It was a good portion and really tasty. The woman working the counter was very welcoming. Telling my coworkers to visit this place.
Always fantastic, freshly prepared food, clean setting. Vegan options are top shelf here with Falafel plates, wraps, cauliflower, salads, several humus lines, and homemade soup. Both the Baba and the Humus are outstanding as compared to other downtown options. Nothing to say but great things about this little gem hidden 1/2 block down the road and behind Playhouse.
