Every so often I would come to eat at this location. I am Vegan and there's certain foods I can or can not eat as well as how my food is being prepared. I've mentioned to my waiters, the manager (Tammie) and even the cooks that I'm Vegan and how I would like my food to be prepared on the back grill and etc.. I even get a specific green card that let the cooks know how to prepare my food and etc...Usually with my regular bowl I would get two starches which are fried rice. I found out from another location that the company uses butter in their fried rice. Not once have this location have stated that to me considering I've always stated to them that I was VEGAN. This issue is very unacceptable and goes against my lifestyle and have been damaging to me! I've spoken to Tammie over the phone and she stated that they don't use butter in their fried rice. She stated that they steam the rice and add soy sauce, carrots and onions. She reassured me that there was no butter in their fried rice. I've called several other Genghis Grills and they stated they do put butter in their fried rice. I called Tammie back and an employee stated she went out for something then she handed the phone to someone else and that employee stated a whole different story. The lies are ridiculous and someone should be held accountable. Waiting on a response from their Corporate Office.
The Arkansas Little Rock location is horrible. They brought out cold food and took well over 20 minutes to bring my food
Went there for lunch was totally ignored by the servers waited for 20min will not be going back poor service!!!
If I could rate this even lower I would have, I am a secret shopper for other restaurants and I also do a lot of reviews, but never have I had a bad experience as this. When my friend and I went to the line waiting to pick out what we wanted, a lady cuts in front of all of us and tells the cooks that she is a sister to the manager and gets her food for free, and the cook told her she needed a ticket and needed to get back in line like everyone else. But she refused and told the cooks that they need to remember what she wanted and cook her food when she comes up there. Not only did she do that, but she also had a mountain of food in her bowl and let a lone it was the biggest bowl you can get. She was rude and so was the little girl that was with her. I would like to know when do you guys are start serving free food to everyone else, this is uncalled-for, let alone unacceptable. Not only that they did not have chicken or teriyaki sauce, they had run all out during lunch, like seriously. When the cooks told the manager, she did not care and sat her lazy butt back down and ate with her whole family, like wow, really! I am to the point of mad that I am so close of going to the news and having them publicizing this. By the way this was at the Harker Heights, TX location
I went to the Genghis Grill in Memphis, TN @ Poplar & 240. I waited 10 minutes & not a single person came to seat me. So I left. Today I went back thinking surely it would be better. I saw the hostess laughing & cutting up at the bar with another male waiter. I know she saw me, but didn’t bother to seat me. Finally, a server came & when the hostess saw her, she ran over & grabbed the menu & took me to a seat. No spoken words of greeting. I sat & waited for several minutes & still no one came to wait on me. It looked like there was a bartender & 3 servers. I got up & walked out. I was very upset. I went back in & asked for the manager & there was a server showing a menu to a guest who had come in after me. They were giggling & talking. The hostess just looked at me like She was deaf. No one offered any apology or explanation. I will never darken the doors of that restaurant again. Terrible
