I've been a customer at Charley's for years. I've always had good experiences here with purchases and instrument repairs.

I'm a guitar fanatic and I am always blown away when I visit! Bryan knows more about guitars than anybody I've ever met! If it's a guitar, he either has it or knows where to get it. Bryant's repair shop is busy, because they are that good! They do all kinds of string work.

You Will find the knowledge and the expertise to move your projects foreword. They are about helping the musicians. They have the gear that the working guitarist want and need. That my friends that is lacking in the chain stores. Their repair center is the best there is. I will NOT take my guitars any place else. From a setup to a neck reset their the only ones I trust.

Most unusable amp I ever purchased was at Charley's. I paid $1,200 for a '89 British Vox AC-30 that sounded good in the store but had some hum and popping. I didn't take it apart in the store, but I purchased it and took it home. After I started looking into the amp, the first glaring oversight was Charley's sold me an amp with only three of the four power tubes installed. Who does that? I took it back to the shop the next day, explained the issues and Charley's said they would take care of it. S I X Months Later... they finally say it's ready. It wasn't. Same popping and ground hum. I took it to another amp tech and spent over $300 to do the repairs that Charley's should have done. They short-armed the sale and customer service big time and it put a bad taste in my mouth to ever go back. Buyer beware.

Storied place to talk with the competent guitarists on staff about new and preowned guitars or to have your guitar repaired.

Part of Texas' historical music scene. This is where Dimebag Darrell Abbott, Stevie Ray and Jimmy Vaughan, Bugs Henderson, Lance Lopez and countless other well known top notch axe slingers bought and had their stuff repaired. If it ever closes the city needs to erect a historical marker. Service, merchandise and prices are still the best in Texas!
