My Daughter's 4th Surgery in 4 years straight. Had a tumor, called an Ameloblastoma, benign, but can be very rapid in growth if not delt with. She had part of jaw bone removed and a plate put in, bone grafts done. Now on her last surgical proceedure, plate was removed an artificial jaw joint put in with more bone graft. This Hospital is outstanding. The absolute best care you can imagine. Thank you Childrens Medical Center. 😎✌

Currently in the ER. I have been here with my child for 4 hours. We where brought back pretty quickly but have been waiting 3 hours in a room to be seen by a SW. This is horrible.

Always a mixture of excellent to very poor service. My son is a hematology patient and have been what for 8 years. The ER has gotten better as far as identifying an urgency visit from the Sickle Cell Disease patients. However, my main issue with this location in Dallas is that the customer service is often judgement and stereotyped interactions. A lot of the nurses and doctors fail to fully listen to the patient and families undermining their opinions. As an African American women we're often associated as not being as educated, angry and fail to comprehend. So what I have experienced and WITNESS is different behavior when communicating with HISPANICS AND African Americans. This is an ongoing issue I have when interacting with staff about my son's care. The rude comments and the interruptions while speaking are completely unprofessional! If they could improve better assessing the families then the visits would go ALOT smoother! They may not agree or understand some individuals lifestyle or socioeconomic status but it DOES not give them a right to dismiss then or give piss poor service!

This for Center of autism y'all do not care about the patients all I want to do is take the insurances money and let y'alls employees Miss treat the patients there like y'all have done you're the only one report accidents when they occur in your office y'all do not want to report them and do y'all have a dress code because the psychologist at my nephew seen was dressing like a and you're allowed her to mistreat him by letting her tear his self-esteem down and y'all dismissed a child and retaliate against the child releasing him from the doctor when you're stating that the Guardians and parents are complaining about this situation or about any situation that happens in your clinic y'all do not want to do nothing about the situation but only dismiss and retaliate against a special needs child because the people at the center or cowards and rather retaliate against a special needs child.because the family is standing up for the child. but when it comes down to the evaluator looking at assessment and mitts on recording that there are notes that she is writing down of her findings the notes disappear nobody knows where they went to ask Miss Brooke Soard and you call yourself caring about disabled children but yet you're retaliate against somebody checking their own urologist when they need them appointments don't retaliate against the disabled children just to get back at the family for standing up forthe kid and the office manager then have the nerve to the mother that her and her child and my self are no longer welcome because we were standing up for my nephew who one of their employees were bullying and the person over the center stated that it was because of Miss appointments where it was not the case we only missed two and we have documented proof on it and then she's going to put out because we complain too much on the employee that was mistreating my nephew and she was dressing like she had father issues and low self-esteem apparently they do not have a dress code and I bet the letter that they sent states that it was because we missed appointments and the appointment that they cancel was written retaliation towards the complaint that we filed against Kathrine B. Mount because she was mistreating my nephew by try the break his self-esteem down but criticizing him I warn anyone with a special needs child do not come to the center cuz they will allow this employee to do whatever she wants and will not discipline her. and when you request a list of people that went through your child file they refused to give it to you and by right they are opposed to give it because there is a Lancaster ISD board member district 1 M Hamilton that works for ut Southwest Medical and trying to keep up what's going on with his medical and who sees it and I do not want anyone to know who's going through it or any other kid from Lancaster ISD

Great overall hospital, fantastic green parking, great children themes all around, even on elevators. With the exception of one consistently careless and forgetful nurse, all other medical personnel are great.

I was in the ER with my 17 month old! We reach there 8:40 the doctor saw us at 1am. 4 hours to see a doctor even though my son is tuning a 104 fever. When ask they replied it doesn't matter how high the fever is. No test where done was just given over the counter medicine! Save your time go somewhere else cause if you trust them you will end up going there a couple of times rather go somewhere else once! Man I wish I could sue these people I wonder how many people you have probably killed with your protocol

Both of my grandchildren have spent many a day in the hospital at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and they have had the best care from Doctors, Nurses and all the support staff. I am so appreciative of the care they have received each time they've had to be admitted to Children's Hospital. I'd recommend this Hospital to anyone needing general to specialized care for your children. God Bless

The hospital's reviews are mixed with most of them being positive experiences with Children's Medical Center of Dallas. There are still negative reviews blocking them from the 5-star rating though. I hope the hospital truly listens to these reviews and correctly modifies their procedures to fully accommodate patients. The hospital overall in terms of reviews is 4.0. However, the interactions between doctors and patients will vary and they produce varying results. However, if staff training was increased the frequency of negative experiences would decrease. The emergency room at Children's could be improved and more staffed. Privacy should be respected and patients should be notified of staff entering their rooms. Racism is a problem addressed in a review. Doctors should also be more open to patient suggestions and would most likely help Children's rating.
