The food was AMAZING! The right amount of spices and the Mac and Cheese.

Another Black owned business that doesn’t have everything on the menu...all the time. You already can’t call ahead for your order, which is just inconvenient. But fine. Customer service was poor, and they were out of various menu items. There is nothing jerk about the chicken at all. It would be perfect for people who want to pretend they had jerk chicken and don’t like spice. It is definitely more like grilled chicken with almost burnt skin. The meal was overpriced for what was received. What’s more disappointing is the fact that businesses like this don’t ever get better with time, their overall quality declines after they have reached a level of “popularity.” Can’t say that I will be back, when there are definitely better options around the city.

I've had Jamaican food all around my hometown NY/NJ, but this place is by far my favorite. They can do no wrong...from the curry chicken patties to the best Jerk chicken my taste buds have ever had the privilege of tasting. If you like Jamaican food this is the place to go.

Delicious food if you're on the go and need that Jamaican taste. It is small, black owned local business. No inside seating, enough outdoor seats for maybe 5-6 people. I ordered the small Curry chicken. The order came with cabbage salad, rice & peas and plantain. Cost about 9.75 before tax and tip. I also grabbed a handmade juice drink from their fridge. That cost $4 before tax and tip. I would recommend this for the working professional who had a craving for some homemade coming.

Tried this spot before with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I loved the fantastic mood and delightful dishes and beverages. 5 stars.

The place is slow. The order taker is very rude and unhelpful. The food was bland. Nothing had flavor, except the collards. Absolutely no seating available. The chicken was basically grilled chicken, no season. The rice was hard and tasteless. The brown chicken tastes like dry gravy mix from a packet. With a full flavor , pleasant true island restaurant just up the road, I advise readers to skip this absolute tasteless hole in the wall.

Being Jamaican I was expecting way more than what I recieved. When you pull up one would thing YES this is going to hit the spot but it just didn't. The chicken taste good but the spice wasn't there. It was more sweet spicy than spice spicy, which defeats the purpose. It was very busy and the staff was clearly overwhelmed and could NOT multitask. For Americans this is great.

Since some other reviewers were underwhelmed by the peas & rice and cabbage salad, I got the medium Just Jerk Chicken. Very nice. Use lots of sauce y'all because it's not real spicy but it is real good.
